🥾 Event Description 📍 Location: Rwinkwavu , Kayonza District, 7km to AkageEastern Rwanda (close to Akagera National Park) 📅 Date: 28th may 2025 ⏰ Time: 8:00 AM – 11:00 Am 🎟️ Contribution: 10$ ,breakfast & local lunch — funds go to school materials) Join us for a meaningful hike in the heart of rural Rwanda! 🌿 We’re inviting all Workawayers currently in Rwanda to take part in a special one-day hiking event — not just for fun and nature, but for impact. We’ll walk scenic village trails through banana plantations, hills, and community paths while raising funds to support local schoolgirls with notebooks, pens, and reusable sanitary pads to help keep them in school. What’s included: ✔️ A guided hike through beautiful Rwinkwavu around Akagera National park ✔️ Insight into local life and our school projects ✔️ Traditional Rwandan breakfast and home-cooked lunch ✔️ A chance to connect with locals and fellow volunteers ✔️ 100% of proceeds go to supporting vulnerable students
