Hello world, my name is Daisy!

I love travel because I’ve found real experiences to be the most valuable learning tools. There is something to learn in each moment, and putting yourself out into the world is a risk that comes with many rewards. I want to give back to others and hopefully be able to share a piece of me, too.

I am 24 years old and have a degree in fine arts at the University of New Hampshire in the USA. I have a big family whom I have a lot of love for, and my dear friends, too. I am learning to take life more slowly and take more care. Because our time on this beautiful planet is limited, I have a sense of urgency to get out and see. If we lived forever this would no longer hold true.

I hope to make an impact on others through my art, words, and actions. I have found that community is very important to me, especially a community of like minded individuals. With many hands coming together with the same goal some incredible things can happen. I have found community through the art program at my university, and feel incredibly supported and challenged. I travel to find the community where I go.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I graduated from the University of New Hampshire in the USA with a degree in Fine Arts. I enjoy contemporary expression, my thesis was a combination of music, dance, and painting, all of which I created myself. This process was filmed and presented in my thesis exhibition. Creating is a way of living for me. Art deepens the connection I have with myself and my subconscious. My journey into art is not only a creative one but to me it is spiritual. I love to see my art change and grow overtime as I gain new perspectives. I am experienced with drawing, painting, ceramics, and I am open and interested in learning to use new mediums/learn about new techniques. I have completed a few commissions for some friends and family! The biggest project I have taken on was a mural I painted a couple of summers ago, almost 30 ft long. I am the most experienced with acrylic and oil paint, but I like to experiment on my own with mixed medium. At the moment I am enjoying photography and videography combined with performing arts. I do not want to limit myself, I see art as a freedom of expression and I learn something new with every different approach I take.

I grew up on a vegetable farm with a store called Tuttle's Red Barn. I know a bit about farming and farm life and I enjoyed that lifestyle. I also love to cook and bake as well- especially for family and friends!

I love kids! I have some experience with babysitting, and I love spending time with my nieces and nephews. I also love animals. I grew up with a dog and a couple of goats, a bunny at one point, 200 chickens at another point, then 4 pigs. I am the most comfortable around dogs.
