Description
Welcome to our eco-hostel in beautiful Fethiye! I'm Cevher, and I'm excited to share the authentic Turkish coastal lifestyle with travelers who want to experience more than just tourism. Our property sits in a peaceful area just 10 minutes from pristine beaches, where you'll discover the real Mediterranean way of life.
Our Team: We currently employ one local manager and 2 staffs member who handle the primary operations, ensuring our volunteers are here for cultural exchange rather than essential business needs.
As Turkey's first eco-hostel, we're pioneers in sustainable tourism, and I'm passionate about sharing our eco-friendly practices, local traditions, and the warm Turkish hospitality that our region is famous for. I personally love learning about different cultures and perspectives from our international guests - each Workawayer teaches me something new about their country, customs, and worldview.

During your stay, you'll immerse yourself in Turkish coastal culture while contributing to our sustainable tourism mission. You'll learn traditional Turkish cooking techniques, discover eco-friendly farming methods, and gain insights into hospitality management in a unique cultural setting.
I'll personally introduce you to local customs, take you to hidden gems around Fethiye that tourists rarely see, and share stories about our region's rich history. Together with our international guests, you'll participate in art workshops, beach activities, hiking adventures, and evening cultural discussions under the stars.
What I hope to learn from you: Your perspective on sustainability in your home country, your cultural traditions, language exchange, and fresh ideas for creating meaningful travel experiences.
Aide
As part of our cultural exchange, you'll contribute to maintaining our eco-friendly environment through:
Learning sustainable housekeeping practices and helping maintain our peaceful atmosphere
Participating in our organic garden project and discovering traditional Turkish farming methods
Assisting with guest welcome activities and sharing your culture with other travelers
Contributing to our art and wellness programs (especially welcome if you're a yoga instructor or artist!)
This isn't just about tasks - it's about understanding how a sustainable hospitality business operates while building genuine connections with people from around the world

Hébergement
You'll stay in our staff accommodation within the hostel building (or nearby tent accommodation during peak summer months), with access to shared bathrooms and kitchen facilities. Most importantly, you'll join our communal meals where we cook and eat together as a family - the perfect opportunity for daily cultural exchange and language practice!

In your time off, you can discover the region. We are pretty sure that workawayers can find so many fun things to do.. Our property is located near to the sweetest beaches around , Çalış beach where full off so many pubs and restauarnts.Since there is a local main bus stop close to our hostel, workawayers can easily find their way in to to the city centre where there is an oldtown, a local bazaar and pub streets. From the city center, ölüdeniz, hisarönü and nostalgic antique city, Kaya köyü can be discovered and many more...

The work is very relaxed. It is mainly general upkeeping work which is typical for a hostel- laundry, changing beds, cooking breakfast etc but mainly it is about connecting and chilling with guests.
