Description

Hi, I’m Thabata, a 28 years old Italian girl. I’m a sculptor, and I love creating, learning, and sharing art. The walls of my studio have become too tight for the person I am today. In 2022, I traveled around Europe for a year, and I want to repeat that experience: seeking a more instinctive kind of art and life, and out of the ordinary experiences.

However, I’d really like to learn something completely different from my profession (like sailing, carpentry, skateboarding, mechanical repairs, or playing the harmonica, for example). I’m a calm, honest, and adaptable person who knows how to appreciate what she has and gets excited about small, obvious things. I follow Stoic philosophy. I’m organized and practical, and I enjoy hands-on work; anything where you can build, demolish, or repair something. If a project inspires me and there’s a good work environment, I’m happy to work more than necessary. I have a good photographic memory and I learn quickly.

I was part of a scout group for 12 years and, in addition to volunteering with various organizations, I’ve learned what it means to live in a community, share life, help each other, and respect rules. I’ve also picked up practical skills like building without screws or nails and basic knot-tying.

Lately I've been very attracted to boat life, and I hope to have an experience like that. I love being in nature, philosophy, all kinds of art and discussing them, reading books, listening to music (I love both opera and rap), playing video games, and chatting over a beer or a cup of tea :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am a sculptor specializing in wood carving and sculpture, but I have also worked with many different materials. I am skilled in both manual and artistic work.
I live in an old country house where maintenance and repairs are part of daily life, and I’m able to use various DIY tools for the home and garden (drill, screwdriver, shears, chainsaw, lawnmower, etc.).
I’m good at small construction projects, repairs, painting, and general DIY. I’d like to learn more about mechanics and welding.
In short... I’m passionate about anything hands-on :)
I’ve volunteered with various organizations where I did different tasks: cooking and serving food, collecting trash, cataloguing books, distributing food supplies and clothing.
In recent years, I’ve worked in a hotel cleaning service, on a construction site, and as a landscaper.

I am fascinated by theatre (i studied shenography in the high school) in every form: as a show to watch and show to act, as a building and as a scene elements.

I love video games: i like to immerse myself in the plot of a single game and play CO-OP and PVP with friends.

In general I prefer long stay for know people deeper and feel part of the project.
