Hello,
We are Mascha & Joanna, we've been traveling, volunteering and working together for over a year now.

A bit about us:

>> My Name is Mascha, I'm 26 years old and currently on an open end trip around the world :) Before that I worked as a Vet Nurse in Germany

I enjoy being outside in nature and I'm a very open mindet person with a creative mind.
My hobbys include drawing, crafting, reading and cooking and I'm interested in our enviroment, gardening and farminging.
Since I am passionate about animals i am also a Vegan, if it is to complicated I could either provide my own food or do the cooking for everybody that is open to it :)

I'm a kind and open minded person, and I'm very responsible. I have expirience in working with animals and Costumer service and I did some Internships with Children and homeless people. Besides that i am talented in crafting and construction work, not a professional but a quick learner :)

We stayed at redgum for 5 1/2 months, and would recoomend it! Living in the Outback and getting in touch with so many cool people there was a truly special experience. If you stay here for a while you'll get to know the customers over time!

I had a really good time in the shelter! I spent two weeks there and helped with walking the dogs, cleaning, dog feeding and much more! Some of the days i drove to the main shelter for dog walking, other days i helped Richie at the second shelter. If you are in Kazakhstan I can only recommend doing a Workaway here, you won't regret it! This Workaway was just amazing! Pure is the nicest host and an amazing cook! It was a great opportunity to meet other Workawayers, get creative and learn a lot of new things :) when I was there I learned how to grow mushrooms, do a mudhouse, plant banana trees and other plants, make soy milk, build a shelter for the woodship and much more. I had the best time at Ilkas place! Her house and garden are very beautiful welcoming, and no matter in which direction you look, the views are stunning. Rani's place is a really nice place in nature, directly at the beach. I had a great time there, the community was amazing and it's all about helping animals. I had such a great time in Chandigarh! Working at the shelter didn't feel like work at all. Everybody puts their heart in it and cares for the puppies and the shelter in such a great way! I felt very welcomed from my first day on and I have met really nice people. Thank you for this experience!
