    Description

Hello everybody ! My name is Pure and I started an vegan permaculture farm with my friend Vone.
I spent the last 5 years volunteering and running farm for others, then I decide that I was ready to run my own project in my hometown nearby my family.

The main goal here is to become a self-sufficient vegan farm. Our inspirations come from the Thai traditional agriculture and also from Mr Fukuoka's books about natural farming. But as vegan we have to mix those inspirations with our own values.

For exemple we are very interested about the differents phases and position of the moon before we plant trees, vegetables or before we decide to harvest the fruits and vegetables.

We also try to build mostly from natural materials like bamboo, earth and straws.

We currently give few hours a week of our time to teach english (basics lessons) to 6 grade students in the local school. It is our way to share with local people our values and also the benefits of interacting with so many different culture.

We are located 6km south of Phayao between the mountains and the rice fields.

It is set on 3 acres of land with food forests and we have vegetable gardens on contour, rice paddies and ponds.

We welcome volunteers all year around. As a volunteer you will be staying in simple accomodation around our beautiful farm but we are not able to provide the food.
If you want to eat with us we ask you to contribute 6 euro per night per person this money is only for the cost of the food.
Alternatively they is restaurant nearby or you can go to the market to buy something to cook at the farm.

the meals will be made from vegan whole foods and most of it comes from the farm.and you will learn about our Thai-vegan cuisine.
    We'll cook breakfast and lunch in the morning (around 6:30-7am) and we'll cook the dinner (around 7-7:30pm) ;

We don't have minimum for work you can work as much as you can for example in the morning you can work 1-2 hours then in the afternoon is free time you can take rest, swimming, do some handcuffs, reading whatever you want.

Please note, we are not a tourist attraction. Because we are a functioning farm we expect volunteers to be committed and interested in our philosophy.

To give the volunteers the best experience we are currently taking maximum 3 people at the same time.

We would prefer to have vegan volunteers at the farm, due to the amount of e-mails we receive and the limited space we have..it will be easier for us to choose.

Also we would like the volunteers to be conscious and responsible for their own plastics, bottles and trash because there is no recycling system around here like in the western countries.

To get to the farm ; you just have to come to Phayao bus station and we will pick you up.

We are looking forward to meet you and share our philosophy and ideas !
