Description

We are a couple from the Czech Republic. We love meeting new people, learning from them and also learning about different cultures. I was studying to be a teacher and George is passionate chef. We love hiking, cycling and all outdoor sports. We are both from a small village and we had always a lot of work around the house. We have experience in hospitality from New Zealand, Norway and Iceland.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

We’re a friendly and hardworking couple with hands-on experience from a variety of volunteer projects. We've worked on farms and homesteads, helping with gardening, planting, harvesting, animal care, and general maintenance. In France, we volunteered on a permaculture farm, where we assisted with weeding, composting, and daily farm routines.

Alongside outdoor work, we’ve also helped with cleaning, organizing, cooking, and general housework in homestays and guesthouses. George is a chef who loves preparing meals and learning local recipes. Elis is a teacher with extensive experience working with children of all ages — from babies to teenagers.

We’re quick learners, independent, and always ready to lend a hand. We enjoy meeting new people, sharing stories, and learning from different ways of life. We’re respectful of others' space and always try to bring positive energy wherever we go.

Autres infos...

We met just two months before Elis had a flight booked to New Zealand. But after those two months, we decided to go together. We ended up spending a beautiful year in New Zealand.
On our way back, we volunteered in Australia and travelled through Asia and Indonesia. Later, we also volunteered on a farm in France.

We believe that traveling, discovering new cultures, and meeting people from all around the world is the best education life can offer.
