Description
We are building a health and wellness social club in magical Chiang Dao after we have lived in several countries over the last 15 years and helped as workawayers in different projects.
We are a couple from Thailand and Germany, have one dog and a cat and enjoy to meet and connect with people from around the world and exchange knowledge skills and individual views.
Our project aims to offer people in the future a space to relax, connect and rejuvenate while they are enjoying healthy homemade food from the garden.

You will experience the warm Northern Lanna Thai culture and have the opportunity to meet people from around the world on the weekends at our home base in Chiang Mai with steam sauna and ice bath and pool. My wife is local and we can recommend you the some of the best spots to visit in the north of Thailand.
Besides she is teaching Thai and you can learn the language if you are interested.

At the moment we need help with high quality videography, photography and content creation for social media.
Knowledge in creating Facebook reels, IG reels and short videos for TIK TOK is essential and it would be great if you can share previous projects and your general level of knowledge in this area when you apply.
Besides we are looking for people who know how to create SEO optimized content and help to work on a marketing strategy to attract customers and build brand recognition.
In addition, professional videographers who know how to edit and create engaging content are welcome to join us.
I have an Insta Ace Pro2 action cam and a Mavic Pro drone and can help to create content and show highlights in and around Chiang Dao which could be beneficial to create interesting content and drag attention to our project
Furthermore we still need a bit of help with the garden which includes, planting seeds, weeding, mulching and creating a new compost. In our garden we try to use as many permaculture principles as possible and started already a little food forest and people with knowledge in that area are very welcome to apply.
Our main house is already finished but we still want to improve our leisure areas and have a lot of wood to build some furniture. At the moment that would be a bench, a cupboard for clothes and a mosaic style coffee table with wood cut offs. So if you have descend carpentry skills and this sounds like the right job for you please feel free to reach out.
You will do tasks most of the time with me together or independently depending on the situation. We have all the tools and I have knowledge in many areas but are far away from being pro.

We have a spacious but simple house next to our main project with two rooms and choices between double and single mattresses and a fully equipped kitchen where we can prepare meals together or you can prepare them yourself. We will either provide you with fresh ingredients to make food, take you out to have dinner in one of the local restaurants or you can join us to buy local dishes from the markets and experience authentic northern Thai food.
The house has no aircon but we provide fans and in the nights it is cooler in Chiang Dao.
The house has a big living room area and a bathroom with hot shower.

There is the opportunity to borrow a motobike but we have to decide that on a individual basis depending on the situation and skills. The area offers free hot springs which are open 24/7 where we usually go in the nighttime. Waterfalls, caves and many temples are reachable within one hour.
We are an open minded couple with different cultural backgrounds and not religious or resonate with any conspiracy theories. We like to meet people who respect each others views and are open to meet new friends from around the world and listen to other opinions and experiences.

Khalil stayed with us for two weeks and set up two raised garden beds,mulched the garden, made a compost and made us some delicious middle eastern dishes.
He has a great character and is always polite, helpful and cleans up after himself. He even prepared us a kilo of Tahini and left it for us.

Felix is a great senior and host. He said he had been on a workaway a long time ago. The work here can be hard, but don't worry, it's worth it. Sybille stayed with us for around two weeks and helped us during that time with gardening, made us some great meals and helped to restore some old wood windows. Ido is a great guy, he helped during his stay with many different tasks such as paneling wood, brush cutting, sanding windows and helped me to build a brick wall. He is a fast learner and a nice person to be around.
We had many good conversations and Ido is always eager to lend a hand and learn new skills.
