こんにちは。ケンジです。71歳です。
2014年に高校の教師を退職しました。過去6年間は体育教師と副校長を務めていました。旅行が好きで、自然も大好きなので、学校を離れて自然に触れたいと思っていました。現在は、主に日本と海外で農業のボランティアをしています。
これまでにオーストラリアと台湾でボランティア活動をしました。
ワークアウェイの経験は、2018年と2019年にドイツ、2019年と2023年に台湾、そして2019年にフランスでした。これらは私にとって良い経験でした。ホストの皆さんはとても親切でした。
現在英語を勉強していますので、簡単な英語で説明していただければ、理解できます。
趣味は音楽を聴くこと、歌うこと、山菜採り、キノコ狩り、バードウォッチングなどです。自然が大好きです。
そして、ウェイトトレーニングもしています。健康維持のため、ほぼ毎日フィットネスジムに通っています。
映画「鬼滅の刃」を観ました。鬼から人間を守ろうとする彼らの精神に感動しました。日本のアニメもいくつか好きです。
ところで、私はよく努力家だと言われますが、私はそうは思いません。ただ、できることをやっているだけです。

Kenji is just slightly younger than my mum, so I was very happy to have him stay with us. He showed my son how to make couple of Japanese dishes.
I appreciated the way Kenji tidied my front and back garden. He even helped me plant some vegetables.
