About us :

We're starting this trip together to Canada with the idea of learning English better, and being able to speak fluently with a varied vocabulary is our goal. To do this, we'd like to start by coming to meet you and help you in exchange for a few slow discussions at first haha.

Both, we have our holidays working visas, and we're planning to work in the woodworking sector, in crafts, carpentry, art or joinery.

So if we can also help you in some of those fields, you'll have our experience at your service.

On this subject we already have a project in mind to propose to you ;)


About Eme :

I'm spanish (but I've lived mostly in France the last 2 years) and I'm 32.

I'm passionate about cabins and interior design of tiny spaces, in fact, this last year I was working as a woodworker in tiny houses's construction.

Besides, I like all about handcrafted creations and all things that makes fly my creativity.

I don't like the cities, I like being surrounded by nature, and I feel good when I'm in a places with water (rivers, sea, lakes...). Normally, I live in isolated places with a lot of lands and greenery around.

I'm very interessed about psychology, philosophy, personal development, and I take care of my self by making yoga, meditation and sport. But also I'm interessed about science, ecology, sustainability, low-tech, and self-sufficiency in all domains. In fact, I'd love to learn more of this last, by making volunteerings with Workaway.

I like learning about all type of new skills, either manual or intellectual. Currently I'm learning about 3D design, woodworking and also improving my english competences. Indeed, I love be able to talk in different languages. Currently I speak fluently French, Italian, Catalan and Spanish, and I hope to add English in my list soon :)


About Jalan :

I come from France, near Paris, and I'm 25.
I'm an open-minded person, I love meeting people and discussions of all kinds, I always learn a lot.

I have a fairly quiet temperament, I like to meditate, read and write, but that doesn't stop me loving to get out and do sport, like running, hiking, weight training, kayaking or badminton. In any case, I don't like sitting still all day and doing nothing on my phone!

Professionally, I've studied ceramics, and recently carpentry (to make tree houses).
I'm working towards a career in wood construction, but I'm also interested in culture, sport and nature.
And for the future I have a project to create places to live and share to learn and welcome.

Helping and creating give a lot of meaning to my life, so I'm trying to move towards that.
And then life is a storm of events that you don't see coming, and I like to take the time to experience them one by one.

Yes ! We'd like to improve our English. We already have a few basics that are enough to communicate simply, but not enough to be able to express ourselves fully and fluently so to be able to work in Canada. Of course, if you would like to learn French, Spanish or Catalan, we can help you to do so.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Over the last year, we've both been training in the skills of unusual wooden construction.
Eme built Tiny houses and Jalan built tree houses (see photos).
So if you've got any DIY or building work to do, we'll be happy to put our experience to good use.
We love to cook good food, both Spanish and French specialities, as well as creative recipes invented with the ingredients we have left over.

We love creating projects, and we've already got one for you!

And then we'll simply bring our energy and enthusiasm to help as much as we can and make this a great experience for everyone!
