We are currently in Thailand volunteering before heading to Cambodia in March and Vietnam in late March/ early April :)

Description

Hi! I'm Ariadne and my partner is Murray. We both live in Scotland and are looking to explore the world. Travel and meeting new people, experiencing new things brings us both happiness and we would love to embrace other cultures, learn new skills and make friends :)
We are new to workaway and volunteering experiences but are both hard working and quick to learn. We love meeting new people and are easy going and sociable.
Together we have experience in hospitality, bar work, cleaning, social care work, farming and gardening work. We would love to learn some more DIY and language skills along the way 😊

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Ariadne - I have worked in many cleaning jobs since I was 15. I cleaned hotels, private houses, self catering lodges. I also worked in kitchens as a KP for some time. I have experience in hospitality and barista work and have worked in cafes. I would love to learn and experience bar work! Recently I have worked as a senior in a residential care home for elderly men living with dementia. Working there has given me great time and task management skills, I am social and communicate well with people, I am used to working long hours and managing very busy shifts also. I really enjoyed helping to organise activities for residents and helping to carry them out 😊 Outwith work i love to go on walks and i am musical and enjoy playing the piano and picking up other instrument too :)
Murray - Murray has worked with computers for some time after school. He is amazing with numbers and worked as an accountant. He also is very sporty and is the team manager, social media manager and treasurer of his local rugby team. This has given him great management and people skills. He is very good at graphics and infographics. He has done marketing and advertising and social media managing for both his rugby team and local businesses :) He has worked as a gardener and grounds maintenance so has experience in building fences, walls, gardening and planting and general grounds maintenance. Most recently he has been working on a farm. He is very creative and good at manual work. Murray is artistic and loves to draw and create things :))
