Hello lovely Workawayers! ☀️
We live in a small peaceful town called Kamphaeng Phet. Our town is perfect for those who appreciate simplicity and a quiet lifestyle. Our house is pretty close to historical sites, and unique temples. Nearby cities include Sukhothai, Tak, Nakhon Sawan, and Chiang Mai. We’re about 5 hours from Bangkok.
🌈 Looking for Four Volunteers to Join Our Summer Camp
We are currently looking for two volunteers (a pair of friends or a couple) to join our warm and friendly Summer Camp and support activities with children. (5- 13 students)
🗓 Dates:
21 March – 11 April
✨ Camp activities include:
• Art & Craft projects
• Creative learning activities
• Games and hands-on experiences
• Fun and interactive time with children
Our camp provides a welcoming, family-like environment where children can learn, play, and grow happily together.

***In April, Thailand is usually extremely hot. I just wanted to check if it would be okay with you regarding the air conditioning. You’re welcome to use the AC in your bedroom for about 3 hours per day. When you’re teaching, you can also turn on the AC in the classroom.

We are looking for volunteers who can help with:
• Teach English and help with speaking practice
Or
• Paint our house
The schedule will be 5 days a week. You will have two days off — either Tuesday and Wednesday or Thursday and Friday, depending on what works best.
On weekdays, you’ll be helping for only 2-3 hours a day, while on Saturdays and Sundays, the hours will be slightly longer at 4 hours per day.
🕒 Schedule: ( 5 days / a week)
• Mon–Fri: 3 - 4 hrs/day
🏠 We usually provide a private air-conditioned room. (AC is available from 08.30 pm to 11.30 pm) However, if there are several volunteers at the same time, room sharing might be necessary. We’ll do our best to make sure everyone is comfortable. 😊
🍽️ I provide 2 home-cooked meals a day — fresh vegetables, fruit, eggs, chicken, pork, rice, bread, Thai dishes like Pad Thai, green curry and Pad Kapraw.
Please feel free to make yourself at home and cook anything you like.

🏡 House Rules
1. The air conditioner is available from 8:30 PM to 11:30 PM.
2. Please mop the kitchen floor after cooking to keep the space clean for everyone.
3. Keep shared areas tidy, especially the bathroom and toilet.
4. Please take out the trash every evening to help maintain cleanliness and avoid odors.

Internet Connection in My House: My house has a stable Wi-Fi connection, which is available throughout the home. It’s fast enough for browsing, streaming, and online work. However, since I live in a small town, the speed may fluctuate at times. If you need a strong connection for video calls or work, it’s best to use the Wi-Fi in the main area where the signal is strongest. Overall, the internet is reliable for everyday use.

The time I spend with Siri and the children was such a great experience! The children are so nice and respectful and Siri is a very kind woman. In our free time we visited the beautiful city of Kamphaeng Phet or just stayed home in a comfortable room.
We both felt very welcomed and I would recommend such an experience to everyone.
Our stay was very good, we taught English and did paint work for some hours a day.
