Giacomo is a super easy going, calm and good guy. We had a good time together - had good conversatios and we shared fhe same sport. He will got a buddy! He was a great help with a lot of wood jobs and he was super independently working, took decisions by him self. Great to had him here and I hope he is coming back one day. Thanks a lot!

Oh ! I spend few days at Galya's house in January. She and her boys's crew family welcomed me like a princess ! Behind the great luxury villa there is a simple family with great values and kindness. Thank you for your hospitality and hands up to Galya super Mama

What a special 2 weeks! Laura is a wonderful, thoughtful host. Very communicative, organized, and fun! I helped out with house organization and landscaping. We had a great time together working on tasks, having great conversation, and exploring her neighborhood and city. I'm really grateful for this connection and experience. Thank you for everything, Laura!

Lide was a joy to have in our home as a workaway traveler. This was her first experience with work away and, while she had not had previous experience with the tasks assigned, she was wholeheartedly open to learning and did everything with a smile and a fantastic sense of humor. She was open to feedback on learning her tasks, and very determined to carry these out in a timely way. Lide fit in beautifully with our family, was very respectful of other family members as she came with a strong sense of her own family values and bonds. Our 7-year-old daughter attached herself to Lide and has pined for her ever since she left, as have we all. She openly shared her culture with us, and was curious to learn ours. As already mentioned, it was a delight to have her with us and we would welcome her back anytime! Lide is a treasure!

Montserrat et Francisco ont passé une semaine chez moi et c'était extra dans toutes les domaines. De l'aide efficace aussi bien dans le jardinage qu'avec les animaux, dans la cuisine ( Montserrat cuisine très bien!) et la maison. Avec leur expérience je n'avais pas à expliquer le travail qu il était déjà fait. Un vrai plaisir de les avoir ici et d'avoir eu cette semaine ensemble. Merci beaucoup !

My two week stay at the sanctuary flew by as I really enjoyed my time there. I got to do a variety of things whilst I was there and got to spend time getting to know all the lovely animals. Annie is a great host and the passion and love she has for all animals is really inspiring; I feel like I learnt so much in the short time I was there. The sanctuary and the surrounding area are beautiful and the work is really rewarding once you find your feet there.

The weeks Greta spent with us were fantastic. She was a huge help with the festival preparations, quickly became independent in caring for the animals, and is always looking for ways to help. She always has a smile and a kind word. It was really nice to meet her and spend time with her. Highly recommended—I hope we see each other again soon.

Apologies Thibaud, I thought I already left feedback for you. Hope you are both well. Thibaud's boat project is different, unique. He shows huge determination over several years to get his project done, and I am sure he will. A lovely area they live in too. A wild coastline with plenty of walking and cycling possible.

Me voy a quedar corto seguramente explicando lo bien que me sentí y me trataron en este bello lugar. Es mi primera experiencia en un voluntariado, y en un hostel, así que tuvieron que explicarme todo desde cero. Con paciencia me ayudaron a aprender cada tarea asignada del hostel, del cafe y de limpieza, me explicaron todo varias veces y fueron pacientes cuando tuve que volver a hacer algo. Hay oportunidades de sobra de aprender y servir a los demás, y como el grupo de trabajo funciona unido, todo fluye de manera natural. Pude ver a los huéspedes felices y conformes con su estadía, y eso nos motivaba a empezar cada turno. El hostel es bellísimo!!, lleno de oportunidades de conocer personas de todo el mundo, practicar idiomas y compartir culturas. Hay mucho amor, y cero egoísmo, por eso si hay algún malentendido se resuelve rápido. Me encanto!!. Un placer trabajar estas 3 semanas con Any, Eve, Fede 1, Fede 2, Franca, Mari, Anna, Franka, David, Agus y Lu. Espero haber estado a la altura y si tengo algo que mejorar,por favor hagamenlo saber. Un abrazo grande!

Eva was an absolutely amazing host. She is a great conversationalist and an even better cook. Her four dogs and one cat are well-behaved and sweet, and will take a liking to you in no time at all. The yardwork required is not difficult for someone of a normal fitness level. I stayed for a week and had a time I won’t forget. Highly recommend

I had a valuable experience staying with Jasmin, Thomas and Henry in their lovely, cozy home. As my first Workaway host, they warmly welcomed me with clear communication, interesting conversations and of course, a very comfortable room for me to stay in. I'm also very grateful for the advice they provided for a new Workaway traveller like me, as they've stayed with a lot of hosts themselves during travels in the past. As for the jobs I needed to do, it was simple cleaning and ironing, and I was also able to have fun taking photos for Jasmin's cryotherapy studio. I was able to relax and do my own thing on my time off; chill in their beautiful garden, visit Ulm, and give Henry lots of pats. The neighbourhood is beautiful, with a huge field you can cycle through (to reach Erbach) and enjoy the peaceful nature. I would highly recommend them as hosts and for anyone who would like to visit countryside Germany to stay with them.

My stay with Scott was actually so wonderful. He accepted my short notice request to stay and ended up helping me a ton to get prepared to set off on my bike. I seriously could not have got myself ready without his help. Forever grateful to him for that. The work was super fair and satisfying and I could tell that the cleaning and organizing we did was appreciated which felt good. Would recommend Scott to anyone, especially as a solo traveller. I felt safe and grounded staying with him. Also right in the water and with a gorgeous walking path behind. Can’t beat it.

Emily was very good at communications from the outset, and kept us up to date about her travel plans. She arrived on time and was a very considerate house guest, tidy and clean. She's friendly, open and chatty and we enjoyed talking about world events, food and pets! Emily took care of all the tasks we set and was a responsible and careful workawayer - great with our pets and household and keen to ensure that everything was taken care of. We would recommend Emily to anyone.

Not sure how I neglected to post this earlier! Marie was the very best of the best. So communicative and initiative-taking! I'm hoping she comes back this summer to continue her work with the area around the solar water heater. She even helped me by writing a guide on how to be the best workawayer, that I can now share with future prospects. Luckily,she's not so far away so we get to keep in touch pretty easily. Excellent social media content creator, by the by.

Maël-Miro and Selma were with us for a short time but we really enjoyed their company. They were kind, enthusiastic, helpful and open to learning. We wish them all the best on their adventures and they will be a benefit to any host who welcomes them.

I stayed with Angela and Ray for two weeks early June 26. I had a brilliant Workaway experience with them. Work: I worked alongside Ray the whole time. It’s obviously much more fun when you don’t have to work on your own. Mostly gardening – sometimes quite physically demanding, but manageable. I’m still alive :-). Accommodation: Perfect. definitely one of the best, I’ve had so far. Hosts: They were both excellent hosts. Everything was clearly communicated. There was nothing to ‘complain’ about :-). I was given all the information I needed about the local area. The host description on Workaway is spot on. I’d say… I arrived as a Workawayer and left as a friend. Public transport: I got about using public transport, though having your own vehicle would be an advantage. Wherever possible, I was offered lifts. The nearest bus stop is about a 15-minute walk away. .... the only downside ... it’s not really possible to just go out and go for a walk around the house. Rating .... 10 points from 10 :-)

Veronika was such a warm and easy person to have in my home. She was always ready and willing with all the tasks, including cutting many rhododendrons and relaying a very finicky path. She's an independant worker and totally reliable. We had many heart full conversations, her English excellent and she loved my dog as well as got on well with my family. She's very artistic and would have great ideas if needed. I only wish Veronika the best for her future adventures.

My first ever Workaway experience was with Dilsher in Tirthan Valley. You'll find this place to be a little piece of paradise, a hidden gem tucked away in a beautiful untouched natural location away from touristic spots. The river is right next to you, the sound of the birds - the setting is just perfect. Dilsher and the whole team are amazing - so welcoming and happy to help with anything you may need. I was teaching yoga and pranayama here, the yoga studio is new, overlooking the valleys - such a beautiful spot to share a practice and start the day. I hope to return again sometime.
