  Description

  I am a retired professional. I am a hobby watercolor painter and a mother of three grown children. I have four grandkids, 2 in Washington and 2 in Florida. My house is in a very quiet, lovely neighborhood near Seattle. There is access to public transport nearby. I am fun-loving, laugh a lot, kind-hearted and outgoing. I am widowed and have a boyfriend who doesn't live with me. You would need to like a peaceful setting to stay at my house. Because I recently have some back problems, I need help with various things. I will want to talk on FaceTime, whatsapp or Skype to meet you to see if we are compatible.
  I have lots of art supplies for watercolor painting if interested. A bike might be available to use. Lovely walking trails are nearby. Seattle is a fantastic city. My town is Mercer Island, right over a bridge from Seattle.

  I am very patient with people practicing English. I have hosted many international visitors. I can do sightseeing with you, just not every day. There are so many interesting things to see and do in Seattle, you can never do all of them. If you are a good worker, then I'm motivated to do cultural outings with you.

  Aide

  I need some yardwork that may not take a lot of time. House cleaning help would be welcome. A good cook would be a plus, although I know how to cook. Mediterranean type diet is best for me, plus ice cream! Window cleaning is another task. General housecleaning is always needed. Language exchange is optional but I will definitely help with practicing English if you wish.

  Hébergement

  A downstairs bedroom with a full size bed (double). There is an attached bathroom. I have an Italian student living in my house now so not sure what room will be available. He may be gone in summer. My house is big and has beautiful views of Lake Washington from most rooms. We can do dinners and maybe lunches together. I like healthy food, not vegetarian. Breakfast can be on your own depending on our personal schedules.

  1 mile away is a bus stop to go to the north end of the island (10 min ride), then another bus to Seattle or the other adjoining city, Bellevue. Whenever I am available. I'd be happy to drive you to bus stop.
  I need to have visitors who are considerate with noise and who clean up their own dishes or help with cleanup when meals are shared.
