Description
We are a family with 4 kids (from 9 to 15 yo). We live in the south-west of France, close to the Pyrenees. You will have your own bedroom and bathroom. You could train the kids with English or Spanish, organize activities for them, help with gardening. We speak French, English, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and I am learning German and Japanese. We would like to improve these languages as well.
We've been practicing homeschooling for years but from September 2024 all of the boys are going to school.
From March to August 2025, we will host a German teenage girl for an immersive stay, that's why we can't accept German speakers during that period ;-)

Nature is beautiful here, and the mountains are close. There are many places to visit: archeological sites (prehistory and Roman periods), medieval Cathedral, etc
We have a 7-year experience with homeschooling to share. If you work or plan to work with kids, you could learn or teach a lot.

The cultural exchange is the most important for us. We do not specially need help, just share who you are, what you know.
You can learn a lot if you are interested in educational field.
Laurent is a sporty guy. You can accompany him for running, cycling, kayaking .
We have a big garden, you can help with the vegetable garden.
We prefer stays between 3 and 5 weeks.
The closest train and bus station is Saint-Gaudens.

She did so good with the boys. She cooked very healthy and tasty Brazilian dishes.
We had very interesting conversations on many topics.

Although it was just a week (definitely too short) I could learn so many things, had many funny moments with the boys and a lot of interesting conversations with Catherine. I loved them! Paula came home just for one week. It has been too short and the boys are already asking when she will be back. She did very well with the kids, she was very respectful. She is interested and interesting, she learns very fast. She brings a lot of joy. A short but very nice workaway experience.
