  Description

  Come and join Family/Community Life in Berlin and still have a calm and peaceful Place for yourself to stay in our House and Garden.
  We like to meet new people, are open minded and interessted in all that connects us as Human beings. Whether we eat together, Dance or hang out with the Kids, play music or join Cultural Events; we like it lively.
  Our family are: Maro, an Artist, interessted in philosophy and Arwareness working as a Therapist for childreen. Johanne, a Dance Artist, teaching, choreographing and is doing Cultural political work.
  Bela is 7years old and enjoys inventing stuff, swimming, is learning the Piano and likes gardening. Lea is 3 year old and surprises us with her Little jokes. She just enjoys Life.
  In the Weekends we like to go to theatre, music Events, markets and Community Events. From time to time we visit the Lakes near by or rent a boat to explore new waterways around Berlin. There are plenty…
  And now that is colder outside; we have a wooden fireplace inside the house and you will love it to sit in front as we do.

  Living with us is a multicultural experience. Whether the quick trip to the city centre (22min till Brandenburger Tor, middle of Berlin or Kreuzberg) or here at home you can practice your german and Arabic (Lebanese). you would be part of our vision to open up family life and to connect to others and to build community.

  Aide

  We own an old family house with garden which needs a bit of maintenance.
  This autumn we want to build a roof across a staircase outside our house. The construction plan and the material cut is made. Now we would need a hand to put it up.
  Further we like to grow vegetable in our garden and therefore need to prepare the soil. We like to change the position of one little tree and need gardening help in general.
  
  Further we like to dismantle a library from the wall and empty one room to put in a wooden floor.
  No worries we don’t expect you to plan or build something by yourself. It is helpful to have practical skills but sometimes it is also very helpful to play with the kids or cook the dinner, so we can get the stuff done by ourselves.

  We like to practice our spanish and love to learn Italian. We can offer german and arabic.

  Hébergement

  Our Souterrain is your private floor with a separate entrance if you like as Wella staircase up to the common rooms. You will have a single room with furniture, a private bathroom with a single cooking stove and a fridge.

  Public transport is available in about 12min walking distance. SBahn, buses and U-Bahn. We can give you a bike to get around. After 8 years in the countryside we appreciate so much to get around without a car and have recommendations for bike trips…
  We are on the edge of town so you can quickly bike outside through fields and the nearest forest is 15min away.
  Well the Berlin: there is sooo much to do and experience. When you are interested in art there is the Gropiusbau Museum quite close to our house and then there is sooo much more.
  And the main tourist attractions are very convenient to reach Ron our SBahn lane. Just tell us your interests and we surely can help you.
  For clubbing our district is quite far off…
  We live in a calm neighbourhood in the south of Berlin.
  
  When living with us it is important for us that you are open to communicate. And that we can talk about may occurring issues. It is appreciated that you clean up after yourself.
  Note that we try to live sustainable and therefore save water (we shower only once a week, but you can choose yourself) and we buy mostly ecological food.
