Description
Located in the old part of a small farming and forestry village in Liptov central to the High, Low and West Tatry Mountains. There are lots of outdoor activities in the area. The house is located next to a 750 year old catholic church.
I am looking for people to offer general help with renovation, decorating and simple build projects, with some gardening, landscaping and garden maintenance. Included is some window renovation and plastering repairs as well as some basic plumbing work. There is always some general maintenance, cleaning and outside work required.
There is a varied range of work available, please get in touch if you wish to spend some time here enjoying the Tatry Mountains.
Working up to 5 hours per day, 5 days per week ideally for a minimum of two weeks. The work schedule is flexible on agreement to ensure you can make as much of your free time to enjoy the area as possible such as fewer longer days to have more free days.
I have 5 bicycles (2 electric) as well as longboards, a stand up paddle board and an inflatable kayak. I also have some ski & snowboard equipment for Winter. Whether you want to hike in the forests or mountains, cycle the forests or along the river all accessible from the village or hang out at the lake there are always plenty of options.
Go alone or I can show you around.
The living area is very comfortable. The bedroom is for us to 6 people but I'm only taking us to 2 or 3 at a time now so you could be sharing with one or two others (gone are the days where we've been 12 people here at once! ).
Wood for heating is locally sourced and sustainably managed.
There is so much to do in this area in Spring and Summer, including adventure activities and exploring nature and the mountains you will find this a rewarding visit. This is the main tourist area of Slovakia for adventurous and outdoor enthusiasts.
Meals are provided within the home, the exact nature of which will be tailored to suit the people present at the time.
Please get in touch if you feel this could be suitable for you. If you have read the above please mention the village of Dovalovo in your request and what work / tasks you believe you can contribute to the project.Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

There's often a chance to join me with some local friends cycling, hiking or picking mushrooms or blueberries or with a visit to the pubs in the area or local castle, or skiing and snowboarding in winter.
As I'm from the UK you'll be able to practice your English with a native English speaker.
Enjoy the many adventure possibilities in the region and incredibly beautiful mountains of Slovakia.
Pick up travelling trips and ideas or exchange stories with a widely experienced adventurer of many years.
Located in Central Europe there is also easy access to neighbouring areas including Poland, Hungary and the Ukraine either as side trips or on your onward travels.Aide

The living accommodation is now very comfortable in a superb position with spectacular views around the village. You are likely to be sharing a room with others, although the bedroom is large enough for 6 people I typically only take 2 or 3 at a time now.

Spring and Summer offer many activities on the doorstep and within half an hour for many other opportunities.
During the winter there is the Jasna Ski Resort and water parks as well as other indoor activities and for the more hardy winter hiking. I visit the ski resorts usually twice each week and when doing so have transport that you can share and a limited amount of ski and snowboard equipment to use. Lift passes are super cheap late March until the season finishes.Informations complémentaires
