  Description

  Hello! We are an Italo/Greek family living in Monte di Portofino national park, quite near by Genova. We are private, we don't own any company, we're just living in paradise and trying to keep it as well as we can. We have a 6 years old daughter and a 3 years old son, they are both half Italian half Greek, as their father is Greek. We also have two cats who lives outdoor, then hens and chickens. We do work at home (I am an artist) and pretty much in the garden around home for our own consumption, with my husband we're fixing the olives that were abandoned for many years, following season works on the fields (which are very steep in this area, like terraces with stairs everywhere). We started breeding bees last year and we're planning to enlarge the beekeeping activity as we like it and we also see good results for the surrounding nature.

  We can teach you Italian , Greek, olive colture, beekeeping, tomato and many other veg growing, fruit picking and drying, some taiji quan Chen style (I'm instructor) also block printing or embroider tecniques!

  We basically need help with children and animals and a bit of garden tasks. Everything depends on the season.

  As we already speak two languages in the family, we like our children to improve them or learning others, the older one is very interested in learning english. I have to improve my greek.

  Hébergement

  As the house use to be a family seaside house, we have many (small) rooms and bathrooms. Then the living room is huge and kitchen too. We have the habit to eat quite early all together with children.
  As family with two children, we have the habit to sit around the table and eat all together. When children are at school, sometimes, as we're running, we just make a sandwich.
  There is always food in the house and since shops aren't closeby, we write a list together befor going to buy. Eggs are from our hens, honey is from our bees, olive oil is from our trees as capari and oregano, some fruit and vegetable are from the garden, depending on the season.

  The place where we do live is pretty isolated but very near to the sea, it’s perfect for people who likes hiking, nature and animals.
