  Description

  We are a little family of 3. My name is Nicolas, I was born in Switzerland in 1980 from a chilean father and a swiss mother. Angela is chilean from Valparaiso and we have a little baby born in 2019.
  I am an Economist and have always loved to travel and discover new cultures. Now we are leading an eco-tourism project in an amazing spot in a national park (La Campana) in Chile. We are offering great opportunities of help related to construction, carpentry, gardening (permaculture) and tourism/hotel activities, picking wood for the winter, babysitting and creative play.
  
  We are actively looking for help with housekeeping for our place for the season (January - March) .

  Aide

  Volunteer position as a hotel helper for January to March 2024:
  
  The hotel helper cleans the rooms, entrances and common areas. They are also responsible to help in the laundry room. They help create a welcoming atmosphere through the cleanliness of the establishment and careful preparation of the rooms.
  
  Responsibilities:
  Help with housekeeping and cabin service
  prepare guest rooms (change bedding, vacuum, clean bathroom and toilet);
  ensure the cleanliness of access to cabins and common areas;
  arrange and decorate the premises;
  tending plants, preparing floral arrangements and decorations;
  clean in an economical and ecological way;
  identify simple damages and deficiencies and remedy them if necessary;
  Laundry and linen room
  sort dirty laundry (sheets, towels, tablecloths, napkins, etc.), wash it in the machine, iron it and put it away
  
  We offer to help in a place in an exceptional setting, surrounded by nature, on the edge of the La Campana National Park, in the central region of Chile.
  
  Irregular hours sometimes mean helping evenings and weekends.
  
  Qualifications:
  Ideally, trained as a hotel helper.
  
  We are looking for help with construction, carpentry, gardening and the general maintenance.
  
  But also, we would be happy to have support with the babysitting and creative play.
  
  Last 1,5 year, I have had about 60 volunteers helping in the construction of an amazing project (wood, structure, mud and straw, 1500 recycled bottles).
  
  I am running now a similar new project and it would be great to work with you: carpenter, builder, gardener.
  
  5 days help per week - min. 5 hours per day.
  
  Volunteers of min. 25 years old are required to help on this project.
  
  
  
  Place de Volontaire en tant qu'employé en hôtellerie pour Janvier à Mars 2024:
  
  L'employé ou l'employée en hôtellerie nettoient les chambres, les accès et les espaces communs. Ils sont également chargés de travaux à la buanderie. Ils participent à la création d'une atmosphère accueillante par la propreté de l'établissement et une préparation minutieuse des chambres.
  
  Responsabilités:
  Service ménager et service dans les cabanes
  préparer les chambres des hôtes (changer la literie, passer l'aspirateur, nettoyer la salle de bain et les toilettes);
  veiller à la propreté des accès aux cabanes et des espaces communs;
  aménager et décorer les locaux;
  soigner les plantes, préparer des arrangements floraux et des décorations;
  nettoyer de manière économique et écologique;
  recenser les dommages et insuffisances simples et y remédier le cas échéant;
  Buanderie et lingerie
  trier le linge sale (draps, linges, nappes, serviettes, etc.), le laver à la machine, le repasser et le ranger
  assurer la distribution des marchandises et tenir à jour le fichier des stocks;
  nettoyer et entretenir les machines et appareils: machines à laver la lessive, chauffe-plats, etc.
  Environnement de travail
  Offre un lieu de travail dans un cadre exceptionnel, en pleine nature, en bordure du Parc National La Campana, dans la région centrale du Chili.
  
  Les horaires de travail, irréguliers, obligent à travailler parfois le soir et en fin de semaine.
  
  Qualifications:
  Idéalement, formé(e) en tant qu'employé ou employée en hôtellerie.
