Description
Palkonya is located near Villany, the famous Hungarian wine region. I moved here more than 10 years ago, after living for over 50 years in Venezuela. I found this little village by accident, and immediately fell in love with it. It is a beautiful and peaceful place with amazing energies.
The property consists of a main house (where I live), and a guest house booked by tourists. I do have a little vegetable garden, which provides fresh food from spring till autumn, a mid-sized garden and a summer kitchen with a beautiful view to a lake and forest.
Accommodation: helpers are able to stay in a separated and private room. Toilet and shower facility is available outside the room. There is also an outdoor summer kitchen to be used by our helpers.
I am looking forward to meeting new people, who would be a great help for me in the works around the house (gardening, painting, little wooden house renovation, etc.), whilst you experience a relaxing stay in this wonderful place. -

Learning how to process goods from the garden by preparing syrups, pestos, jams, etc.
I love gastronomy, and having lived for over 50 years in South America and 20 in Hungary, helped to have a colourful palette in the kitchen as well, which I am happy to share with my helpers. As well as practicing Spanish, French, Italian, German, Spanish or Hungarian. -

I am looking forward to have hard working travellers supporting me with activities around the house and garden, which I can't complete by my own. Some examples:
