Description
Hi, My name is Yap, I am the person in charge of this place. We are running a 10 acres Eco Leisure Farm Stay at Bukit Tinggi, Pahang about 40KM (45mnts) distance from Kuala Lumpur City Centre. We have wonderful Vegetables farm, Fruits farm, and of course surrounded by Pine Trees 🌲. Our farm stay is a meat free and smoke free environment :)
Bukit Tinggi is famous with Bentong Ginger in Malaysia :)
We have around 18 staff in total, we have gardener, housekeeper, farmer, and most of them are multitasker. They are all friendly person ;-)
This is an awesome Riverside attached with us, Water fall is about 1 hour 45minutes walking distance. There are Pickleball court, and exploration opportunities in the nearby wilderness areas. And we have 3 dogs in the farm 🐕

We will need your help for some farm / building / gardening maintenance such as trimming the trees to avoid fall, sometimes fruit harvesting, some gardening, housekeeping, maintenance. No worries, we will show you how to do it! ;)

Our place is the first junction from Kuala Lumpur to Pahang, and easily reachable by Public transport from City or Airport. I can pick you up from the nearest bustop at Bukit Tinggi.

We were here for only two weeks, but we fell in love with this place!

I volunteered for 2 weeks in 2025 February. This was my first Workaway, and it was a really good place to start my workaway experience.
The team organises the voluntary work in structure with proper working time. And you experience different tasks each day.

Every morning, as I got out from bed, I took a small walk to catch the morning glow from a restaurant overlooking a beautiful lawn. We spent 10 days here with my wife. This place is truly heaven. A great place for nature lovers. Edmond took great care of us and some days took us out to eat and have fun in genting highlands after work. The other employees were also very nice, we felt at home. I contacted them a day before I wanted to arrive, they respond very fast. I spent two weeks in this beautiful place, very picturesque in the hills north of KL.. I visited this place with a friend and we stayed five weeks in Bukit Tinggi. We had a nice room and the food was good, even though it was vegetarian.
