  Description

  Hi everybody!
  My name is Terri and I live in a very beautiful place! It is a monumental mansion in Glimmen, nearby Groningen. We have 10.000 (m²) or 2,47 acres of land. With big trees and some smaller wooden cottages. We rent out rooms. We are a non-profit organisation. We are not a business and won't be asking Workawayers to help with any business-related tasks, paying guests or in spaces used by them. We try to help people that are struggling in one way or the other, we are a kind of small community, but we also love our own space. And are currently looking for someone who can help us with the maintenance of the mansion and garden.

  We are used to living with people from alle around the world, we have had asylum seekers living with us. You would live with +- 8 other people in the house and they will be happy to learn from each other and help each other. We are a community that loves to learn from other people and take care of each other and the world.

  Aide

  it is an old mansion that needs a lot of maintenance. You can think of painting, lawn mowing, chopping wood and so on...whatever suits you best, there is a lot to do. We are also open for your thoughts and ideas.

  We all speak Dutch. We can speak English. Some of us speak fluent German and some speak fluent French. We are more than happy to work on all of those languages and look forward of what we can learn from you!

  21 m2. large windows. two built-in wardrobes. you share bath and kitchen. You have your own sink in the room. If needed we can provide furniture. There are also two large rooms that you share with the other people. Here you can eat or play a game or...
  
  Meals can be provided in different ways. The person can choose to eat with one or two or more people. Or they can choose to eat for themselves. We are open to the intentions and plans of the workawayer.
