Description
Hello, we are Harry and Silvia from it Heidenskip. We live beautifully in a country house anno 1720. On this unique place we create a castle worthy garden and live here as self-sufficient as possible. Friesland is known for its wonderful water sports. If you want to join us we will reward you with a culinary stay and fun and surprising outings. We also love music and dancing, so it is always party time at the house

Hallo, wij zijn Harry en Silvia uit it Heidenskip. Wij wonen prachtig in een Landhuis anno 1720. Op deze unieke plek creëren wij een kasteel waardige tuin en leven hier zoveel mogelijk zelfvoorzienend. Friesland staat bekend met de prachtige watersport. Als je ons wilt gaan helpen dan zullen we je belonen met een culinair verblijf en leuke en verrassende uitjes. Ook houden we van muziek en dans, dus het is altijd feest

For a good idea of Friesland, we offer you to go out every now and then in this special environment. In addition, we will show you seer how beautiful it is to live (partially) self-sufficiently.
Voor een goed beeld te krijgen van Friesland, bieden we je aan om zo nu en dan er op uit te gaan in deze bijzondere omgeving. Daarnaast laten we je ziener proeven hoe mooi het is om (gedeeltelijk) zelfvoorzienend te leven.

For the new year we are looking for motivated people who love gardening and/or helping in household
You will mainly help with garden. We have a piano in the Music Room and a left-handed guitar and left-handed bass guitar.
Can you play an instrument then we have a music room to enjoy. Do not hesitate! Write, and be welcome!
We started workaway last year and had a great time together 🥳

Our country house outdoor estate offers you a very spacious living facility with enough rooms to be able to come to yourself for a while. We have several rooms such as: The Living Kitchen, Baker's Room, sitting room, music room, dining room. Beautiful large bedrooms, bathrooms, and all in a great old style with all the comforts of today. But above all, a place with a great atmosphere in the middle of nature!
Landhuis Buitenhuis Landgoed, biedt u een zeer ruime woongelegenheid met genoeg kamers om even tot uzelf te kunnen komen. Wij hebben diverse kamers zoals: De Leefkeuken, Bakkerskamer, zitkamer, muziekkamer, eetkamer. Prachtige grote slaapkamers, badkamers, en alles in een geweldige oude stijl met alle comfort van deze tijd. Maar bovenal een plek waar een geweldige sfeer hangt, middenin de natuur!

Sylvia and Harry are very kind and welcoming. I stayed with them for two weeks and in that time they took me on various trips and included me in their daily life. They own a lot of animals so this really is a perfect place for animal-lovers!

My stay with Harry and Sylvia was like being with two old friends. I felt very at home and enjoyed the days and even tasks. Sylvia always worked with me in gardening, painting, cleaning and even washing Freek (the dog). On my days off I got to see a bit of other nearby cities. I stayed six weeks with Harry & Silvia. They are good hosts willing to care about their guests. Monday to Friday the work had a clear structure and I enjoyed the tasks outdoors. Weekends were free. During my stay there were always at least two other workawayers with me and it was a family-like atmosphere working, eating and playing together.

At Silvia's and Harry's little farm I had a great time! I did look for a last-minute hosts for 2 weeks and they were very nice to host me. As it is hard to travel to their house in the middle of fields by bus, Silvia picked me up from the train station nearby as well as brought me to the train when it was time to leave.
