  Description

  We are a family of 4 good natured adults, living on the countryside, close to Geneva. We live in the last house of a dead-end road, in a small village. We have 2 dogs, 7 tiny puppies, and 4 cats. We lived in Belgium and Morocco before, and two of us are Americans. We speak English, French, Dutch and some German and we love to barbecue. Father (71) and son (25) are musicians, daughter (29) is an artist. Dad is an experienced handyman, and is very good at teaching new skills, electrical and woodwork, among others.

  You will be able to visit Geneva, Cern, Lausanne, Montreux, the Alps, ... and practise a foreign language. Geneva is located at the French border.

  Aide

  Our house is in need of an overhaul and we look for someone who likes to paint and organise (inside and outside), and get the garden ready for the winter. There are some smaller repairs and projects to be done as well. Our house is currently in chaos. I am on the neurodiverse spectrum, meaning that it is really hard to stick to a task, and to get things done. Having you with us will help overcome this hopefully :-).

  Hébergement

  You will have your private guestroom and bathroom. You are welcome to eat with us, at our expense. Or we are happy for you to cook your own meals should you prefer so.

  We have a pool, and our labrador and bordercollie love making long hikes. We have a car available for you, albeit there is excellent public transport to get you where you like to go. We are happy to loan you our electrical bikes, the surrounding areas are lovely.

  We have highspeed internet with excellent connection throughout the house, or on the terrace. I work from home and I am happy to spend time together.

  We have 2 dogs, currently 7 puppies, and 4 cats ourselves. Your cat can stay in your room, which has its own terrace, your dog should be getting along with our friendly and playful labrador and border collie.
