    Description

Enter the embrace of the forest, where the whispers of ancient knowledge echo through the trees and the spirit of the land calls.

This is a sacred space devoted to the reclamation and preservation of humanity’s ancestral wisdom, a treasure in danger of being lost. Here, we honor the sacred plants as carriers of profound teachings, guardians of balance, and bridges between the seen and unseen worlds.

Our mission extends beyond conservation. We seek to protect not only the native medicinal plants and their habitats but also the stories, ceremonies, and practices they inspire. These teachings, gifted through the guidance of tribal elders, hold the keys to living in harmony with the Earth and one another. Together, we are vessels for this wisdom, entrusted to nurture and share it with future generations.

This sanctuary is a seed of awakening. We aim to empower others to cultivate their own medicinal gardens, becoming stewards of life’s sacred web and guardians of Earth’s spirit. Each plant, each story, is a prayer—a connection to the greater whole, a step toward healing the world.

Since its creation, this space has welcomed over 700 souls who have joined in service, learning, and transformation. For those who feel the call to live in alignment with health, abundance, and service to the Earth, we offer a space to remember, reconnect, and grow.

The path of service is a sacred one, and we honor those who devote their hands and hearts to the betterment of humanity. The teachings we offer are profound, rooted in the wisdom of the Earth, and shared generously with those ready to commit to this journey.

The work here is as varied as the cycles of nature itself, shifting with the seasons and the needs of the sanctuary. Whether cultivating the sacred garden, stewarding the kitchen, or building structures that support our vision, each task is imbued with purpose and an invitation to grow.

**The Heart of the Sanctuary: The Kitchen**
Our kitchen is more than a space for preparing meals—it is the heart of our center, where market-to-table creations nourish the body, mind, and spirit. We are seeking those inspired to steward this space, infusing their work with care and creativity.

    **Building the Future: Carpentry**
As our sanctuary grows, so too does its need for strong, skillful hands to build its foundation. We are currently completing the first of many structures and welcome individuals with carpentry or construction experience to support this vital work.

    **Love working outdoors**
Join us in maintaining and beautifying our garden and outdoor spaces! From planting flowers and veggies to landscaping, weeding and general upkeep, there's always something fun and rewarding to do. Whether you’re experienced or just love getting your hands dirty, we’d love to have your help. Come enjoy fresh air, learn new skills, and contribute to a beautiful environment.

    **The Flow of Knowledge**
Here, knowledge flows naturally, like water seeking its course, from person to person, project to project. It is transmitted as it wishes to be explored, creating opportunities for deep learning beyond the tasks at hand. Every moment here offers the chance to expand your understanding of sacred plants, holistic practices, and the interconnectedness of life.

    **Opportunities to Grow**
In addition to your contributions, you will have the chance to:
    - Explore the mystical world of sacred plants and their ancient wisdom.
    - Immerse yourself in seasonal cycles, plant rituals, and holistic gardening techniques.
    - Join a vibrant community of like-hearted souls, each bringing their unique gifts to the sanctuary.

Whether you are a green-thumbed gardener, an experienced builder, or simply a curious seeker with a willingness to learn, we welcome you. This library offers not just a place to work but a space to awaken—to cultivate meaningful connections, deepen your relationship with the Earth, and contribute to something truly sacred.

Are you ready to embark on this transformative journey? Reach out to us, and let us grow together in service, learning, and harmony with the Earth.

*A Space for Dedication, Not Vacation*

It’s important to be clear—this is not a holiday destination. Working in the Costa Rican sun and jungle rains can be challenging. We are adventurers and explorers who understand the power and value of each day spent in service to the land and its wisdom.

*The Heart Center: Stewardship of the Kitchen*
The kitchen is the beating heart of this sanctuary, where the gifts of the land are transformed into nourishment for our community. It is a space of creation and care, supporting the flow of daily life and the work we undertake together. We schedule a tournus for the preparation of the meals so everyone get to prepare unique meal from the fresh food offered by our land for all our community (5-13 people). Maintaining Harmony is primordial, keep the kitchen clean and organized—wipe counters, clean sinks, mop floors, and manage kitchen laundry such as rags, rugs, and towels.

    *The Main hall*
Is the place were we meet each morning, eat toghether, planify our day and hang out.
Taking care of the Main Hall is how we usually start our days.

    *An Offering of Devotion*
Serving in the space is more than a role; it is a practice of mindfulness and reciprocity. Each day begins with listening—asking what the space and the land need from us before turning to our own needs and desires. This approach fosters a deep connection and sense of purpose, allowing those who serve with love and intention to unlock an inner transformation that must be experienced to be understood.
It often takes two weeks to fully orient to the space and attune to the land's unique language. This foundational time provides the understanding and grounding necessary to contribute meaningfully to the life of the sanctuary.

*Are you handy with tools or eager to learn?*
Join us for some creative carpentry projects! From building furniture to repairing structures, there’s always something exciting to craft. Build, sand, varnish, whether you're experienced or just starting out, we’d love your help in bringing ideas to life. Come share your skills, gain hands-on experience, and create something truly unique.

This role is for individuals who resonate with the energy and vision of our sanctuary, helping to create a space where plants, people, and purpose flourish together. We ask our volounteers to stay for at least a month for this essential role. Volunteers are encouraged to explore other responsibilities, expanding their connection to the community and its mission.

If you feel called to this work and are ready to co-create nourishment for body, mind, and spirit, we welcome you to join us in this journey of service and discovery.
