Description
If you are in Ireland in early Spring 2026, we need help with some gardening. We are looking for help in our garden surrounding our house.
Nothing too strenuous but some experience doing outdoor chores with good energy and work ethic, it would be ideal couple who appreciate nature, scenic views in a fantastic part of the West of Ireland.
PLEASE NOTE: Only hosting couples, at this time.
(Sorry single travelers; keep on looking...and please don't contact me thinking I'll make an exception for you. I won't!

You'll share food preparation and general clean up, as part of living together, preferably no cooking later than 6pm, outside of your Workaway tasks. You have your own lovely room with a comfy bed, and a separate bathroom.
Our family have hosted people since 2005 and I've been a helper overseas, so know what makes a good helper experience. See the feedback!
Non smokers and no drug use please. Good conversational English is required.

We offer hosting because we have work to complete and we need the help. When people let us down at the last minute it is hugely inconvenient for us.
I will commit to having you here, buy extra food and will turn away others who request time with us so that you can be here. Please respect this by turning up, and on the day we arranged.

I can help with your English, I am TEFL accredited and. Regional Tour Guide i will show you nice drives, some lovely scenic areas not yet discovered by Tripadvisor. You can explore the local area and further to Galway and the Islands of th west coast. Lots of public transport links nearby.

Nothing too strenuous but a workawayer with physical outdoor task experience would be ideal. Ideally, 3 or 4 days per week 20 hours plus, can make it so as if you would like to travel and explore the local area . I can help. No smoking indoors. Westport is a fantastic town. We live 1 klm to the centre of town on the main road in a scenic location. Walking takes about 15 mins to town centre

Amanda stayed for 3 days and worked for 3 hours. As a host of many years with exceptional volunteers, I was disappointed in Amanda’s approach to volunteering.
What a pity , but Amanda was not a good fit for basic gardening duties.
I wish her the best.
She has a lovely house in Westport. one kilometre from the town. We worked in the garden , we went around his area together , she gave me a lift to the mountain ( Croagh Patrick) and in Conemara. She was patient and friendly , she gave me a big help with English… read more

A great Workaway experience, Charlotte was a willing worker, she threw herself into everything that was going on in the house from gardening to putting labels on envelopes

Also very brave to hire a car and take to the narrow roads in the west of Ireland.
