Description
I live in an earthen house with a dog in a small village. I am a female in my early 50's. I am into appropriate technology, simple living, permaculture etc. The house has a few appropriate technology such as solar air heating, solar dryer, wood burning floor heating etc. It is located near Haeinsa temple, 1 hr from Daegu and 3.5 hrs from Seoul. Ummm...what else?!

I can show you how to cook simple Korean food if you like. If you need somewhere quiet, it might be suitable place to you. There are many trails to go for a walk.

Aide
I have a small vegetable garden. Spring, Summer and Autumn time, there's help needed in the garden including planting and weeding. When the weather gets colder, there's less need for gardening so probably more like general maintenance and cooking & cleaning around the house. Also need help with taking care of my dog.

Hébergement
I live downstairs and you would stay upstairs. Upstairs has two bedrooms ( no beds, Asian style mattress) and a spacious living room. There are a bathroom and a kitchen. The kitchen is simple so good for breakfast. Lunch and dinner are provided downstairs.

Autres infos...
Haeinsa temple is 20 mins away from my house. It is one of the famous temples in Korea. I live close to mountains. It takes 3.5 hrs from Seoul and 1 hr from Daegu, the third biggest city in Korea.

The work was pleasant and as needed. I helped with weeding and planting in a permaculture-based garden. It was rainy for most of my stay, so some of the work was indoor things like cleaning. There were also chances to walk the adorable Baram and… read more
