Description
Hi there!
My name is Chris, and I could really use some help here in northern Sweden! 😊
I recently bought an old farm in the forest, which I want to turn into my new home—a place where travelers can come, have fun, try something new, and work on cool projects together—whatever that might be!
Over the past few years, I’ve learned a lot about YouTube and which niches work really well. Making a living in rural Sweden can definitely be challenging if you don’t want to work a regular 9-to-5 job, which is why I’m constantly thinking about alternative ways to make it work. "Anything is possible if you have the right mindset and the right people around you."
Who am I?
I’m a 34-year-old guy who lives with his 7-year-old daughter every other week. One week, I stay in a small apartment in a village, and the next, I’m on the farm.
I’m an open-minded person who loves meeting people and learning from one another. Together with my ex-wife, I moved to Sweden in 2018 as a young family when our daughter was just two months old. Before that, we traveled to Canada and the USA, hitchhiking through different states and meeting the most wonderful people along the way.
I have a strong desire for adventure and doing unconventional things—just because I enjoy playing the fool and having fun! At the same time, I’m a responsible father who knows what risks I can take.
I love having deep conversations about life and hearing other people’s stories. To me, it's important to be able to express one’s feelings so that both sides understand what’s going on inside. 😊Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

You will get an up-close look at Swedish culture and how things are done here. I hope we can both learn from each other—whether it's about filming, a language, or life in general.

I could really use some help with filming, editing, and planning our next projects. It would also be a big help if you have experience and can share tips and tricks for more efficient editing.
There’s always something to do around the farm, so besides filming, another part of your daily work will involve physical help.
I’d also need you to be okay with appearing in my videos if I need your help with something—for example, in a building project. (One of my YouTube channels focuses on work in general.)Langues parlées

You will have your own room in the main house. Since I’m just getting started on the farm, the house might still be a bit empty in terms of furniture—I hope you don’t mind!
Other than that, we have a whole separate house that could be your private space, but it needs to be cleared out first—which could make for another fun video project!Autres infos...
The farm is located 11 km off the main country road, from where the next bus can take you to the town of Lycksele. The best-case scenario for both of us would be if you come with a car or motorcycle.
There are bicycles at the farm that you can borrow to explore the area, but be aware that we're located on a hill—so you'll have to make it back up again! 😄
We have beautiful forests surrounding the farm, with lots of small streams and creeks. A cold-water spring behind the house could give you a refreshing morning dip if you’re up for it.
If you're into wildlife photography, going out late at night during midsummer to look for moose, bears, or owls could be an exciting experience!
There are also hiking trails running through the area and the nature reserve Stöttingfjället, which we can explore 🚶♂️Informations complémentaires
