Aide
Our team includes a maintenance guy (craftsman preferred) , one or two Wrangler, a chef and one or two girls who are helping mostly with cleaning/laundry:
- Maintenance guy; responsible for all repairs, fencing, lawn mowing, cutting wood etc. . Craftsman, builders, handyman preferred. If you can work with a chain saw then please contact us.
- Wrangler (riding guide/horse responsible); Our Wrangler's need to be very experienced riders (at least of 10 year weekly riding experience), capable to lift a 15 to 20 kg western-saddle on a horse and must have a good understanding in horsemanship. As we have international guests, they should be also fluent in English. However, Wranglers' (as the other too) are also helping in cleaning rooms, serving dinner, or any other tasks if the other workers have their time off.
- Chamber Maid; Cleaning rooms, laundry, helping with breakfast or check-ins/out will be some of your daily duties. As we only have a few rooms, the cleaning is only about a 4h task. There is ample of other things you can assist us with; i.e. chickens, horses, livestock, lawn mowing, etc. wherever your preferences are.
- Chef: You'll be more or less your own boss, will plan and oversee in purchasing/ordering, preparation and cooking and if need be perform other duties as assigned. The Ranch is only offering one set meal at 6:30 pm five times a week and the goal is to build a delicious casual dining within the atmosphere of a Western Saloon/restaurant.
We are kind of a big family and everybody helps everybody... A good team-spirit is a very important part of our Ranch. We have long working/presence hours, mainly due to our Saloon/restaurant. But you will get your free time whenever possible. Of course you always will have 2 days off/week.
We are especially interested in those looking to work independently, who are skilled in multi-tasking, are self-motivated and flexible and like to give 110% - if that's what it needs to get the job done. You'll spend the majority of your time working with a small group of individuals whose socially unacceptable and politically incorrect sense of humor will, in no time, become your own. We expect that you have a bionic strength and stamina to perform physical work, stand/walk for long periods of time and lift 50 lbs.
We offer a wage, room & board, gratuity and the usual days off, executives who respects its team and a fun time! It will never get bored and there is much laughter at the ranch.
International staff are welcome to apply! However, if you are not Canadian, Working Holiday Visa or other work visa is required. You will also be required to provide proof of travel insurance.Langues
