I had the pleasure of staying with Anne and Grahame during my first Workaway experience, and I couldn't have asked for better hosts. From the moment I arrived, they made me feel like part of the family. Their warmth, generosity, and kindness created a home away from home.
Taking care of their wonderful dogs, Grace and Jessie, was such a joy, and
… read more they quickly stole my heart. I also had the chance to meet also their son Rory and their daughter Tara, who were just as welcoming and kind.
This experience left a deep emotional impact on me, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to have met such incredible people.
When I return to Cork (hopefully soon!), I will definitely stop by to visit Anne and Grahame, as they now hold a special place in my heart.
Thank you for everything!Laissé par l'hôte pour le workawayer (Nora)
Nora came to our home a stranger and left a friend, she is absolutely wonderful. Nora is kind considerate, so pleasant to deal with and always willing to help with her gorgeous smile and easy going demeanour. We were so lucky to have her help with our dogs and around the house. We look forward to her next trip to Cork.

It was very easy to blend in with this charming family and their 2 dogs. They are very welcoming and warmhearted and made me feel at home in Ireland. My duties were mainly related to the dogs, the house and the really nice backyard of their home in Cork city. Thanks for having me, Anne and Graham!

I stayed for 2 weeks at Anne and Grahame's lovely townhouse, right in the middle of Cork by the river Lee.
I looked after their two lovely dogs, Jessie and Grace, 12 years and 2 years. Walks were in the University gardens by the river where I could let them off and Grace, especially, could have a run around and chase pigeons and ducks! Both are

Anne and Grahame were very, very appreciative, kind and thoughtful.
There were 3 students staying on the top floor of the house, all very polite and cleaned up after themselves. They use the kitchen and one of the bathrooms but the lounge, where I would light a fire in the evening, was private for me.
Cork is very vibrant with loads to see and do. I visited Kinsale and beautiful Cobh (last port of call for the Titanic before it set off for New York) by bus which was easy. Buses to the airport are a couple of euros and takes around 15 minutes.
I look forward to seeing my hosts and the dogs again one day. Thank you 😊Laissé par l'hôte pour le workawayer (Sally)

Anne, Graham, Rory, Tara and their two lovely beautiful dogs are a jovial Irish family, full of smiles and are all hard working and busy!
They were a delight to be hosted by.
I stayed with them for over two weeks, starting at their rather enjoyable seaside home in Baltimore, where stunning views of the sea and the shore are right across the

The family is most lively and at home in the free-feeling culture of Baltimore.
Then we moved onto Cork city with the dogs, to their urban home which is nicely kept, has a great location for so many things: riverside walks, beautiful UCC campus, downtown Cork, public transit connections, good bakeries and pubs. The dogs are personable, lovable and I just loved caring for them. I definitely recommend pet-minding for the Copplestones and would return to them again!Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

Hi there, I stayed three months with Anne and her family (Grahame, Tara and Rory). I had a great time and loads of fun with the family. I really loved to be there and I miss them already. Grahame's selfmade pizza and focaccia is unforgetable (if I ask nicely, I might get the family recipe). I loved the two dogs and even shed some tears when I had

I've been a few times in Ireland before so, I knew Cork City very well. For me, it was the perfect location in order to visit my favorite pubs, catch up with friends and listen to some great live music. The house is in the center of Cork City, only a few minutes walk to important places or the bus station and take a trip somewhere. In the house I did what had come up and needed to be done, mostly gardening but also painting, dog minding, ironing and other housework as well. I could do everything at 'my own pace' so, no pressure at all. I'd love to visit the family again soon, maybe next year. Can't wait!!!Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

My month with Anne and her family was pure joy! They all treated me so kindly and were eager to make me feel at home. Anne always made sure that I have everything and that I'm happy.

I stayed with Anne, Grahame and Rory for 2 months and I enjoyed every day!
They are a super nice family. So caring, open-minded and relaxed, it was a pleasure to live and work with them. They were my first workaway-family and I couldn’t have been luckier! I felt like a part of the family from the first day on.
Their home is so beautiful and

Almost all the time there were guests and then there were their tree great dogs, with which I fell in love immediately. But I also had enough time and space to be on my own if I preferred.
Don't miss the chance to be hosted by them!

I had a lovely time with this family and their very friendly dogs. Did a bit of housework, painting and general work.
While I was there I saw a lot of Ireland while travelling on my days off. It is a gorgeous country and I would love to come back and experience some more.
I also liked to meet some the family's extended family.
Thanks again.
