Hello!
We are an Italian family of five living just outside Rome, in a large house surrounded by greenery. Life here is lively and sometimes a bit chaotic, but in a warm and fun way.
Nicola works in banking and loves sports and outdoor activities. I’m Francesca, a psychologist and couples therapist, and I enjoy meeting people from different cultures and hearing their stories.
Our daughters are Sofia (16), who attends an art high school and loves drawing and creative things, and our twins Bianca and Beatrice (12), who are curious, energetic and always full of ideas. During the week the girls are at school in the morning, while weekends are usually more relaxed with family time, cooking or spending time outside.
We also share our home with 10 dogs, two cats and one parrot, so loving animals is really important here. The dogs are very much part of everyday life and are often around the house and garden, so this home is perfect for someone who genuinely enjoys being surrounded by animals.
Our house and garden are quite big, so there are always small things to take care of. Nicola already does a lot and the girls help when they can, but it’s always nice when someone enjoys joining us in small projects around the house. It might be helping tidy the garden, clearing leaves, watering plants, or helping us slowly make our taverna a nicer and more welcoming space. Nothing technical or professional, just simple things we often do together. Rome is easy to reach from here, about 20–30 minutes by car or train, so during free time it’s possible to explore the city and enjoy everything it offers.
For us Workaway is mainly about sharing daily life and cultural exchange. We enjoy conversations, meals together and learning about different cultures.
If you enjoy animals, family life and a lively home, you will probably feel comfortable here (dogs are literally everywhere 😉)

I'm a psychologist and really good cooker. we are a very nice family because we are influenced by the northern colture and by the the south Italian colture, I'm from Rome and my husband from Brescia so, in the same family you can find 2 italian different way of life! More over if you like dogs...this is a perfect place where you can take long walk chosing your preferit dog! We are really an easy going family, relaxed and very open minded!

We would preferably like to find a girl that can speak English to our girls playing an enjoying, especially a girl that can help us during the week ends. Love animals especially dogs!

It was overall a great experience, I was immediately part of the family and received with a lot of love.
