  Description

  We are a family of 5 who live in beautiful Victoria
  B.C. in Canada. My husband is an engineer and I am a voice teacher and professional singer. We have 3 boys (16,14 and 11).We live very close to the beach and close to many walking trails, nature but also restaurants, grocery stores and so on.We have 2 acres of property.
  
  We also have a dog named Piper.She is a 4 year old Australian Shepherd who loves to go for walks and down to the beach.Piper is very sweet and loves people.
  
  We would like someone to house sit and look after our dog Dec 14-21 2025 while we are in Mexico.That person could stay longer to spend Christmas with us to learn about Christmas traditions
  in Canada if they wanted.
  
  I was an ESL teacher for many years and have lots of experience teaching English.I also speak intermediate Japanese.My family would love to learn more French, Japanese, Spanish or German.
  
  We are also looking for a person to house sit and look after our dog March 2026 while we are in Japan.

  Our family likes to take holidays a few times a year.We are looking for someone to stay and take care of our home when we are gone.We want someone to also take care of our dog Piper at our home while we are away.

  I was an ESL instructor who has a degree in Applied Linguistics.I lived in Japan and am proficient in Japanese but need more practice! We are super interested in a language exchange in French, Spanish and Japanese.i am happy to help with English study.

  Hébergement

  You would be staying at our home while we are on international holidays.We can provide accommodation in our home or our secondary building. Our home has a piano and music studio, electric drums, painting studio, yard and hot tub.It’s a two min walk to the beach.When we are away you would feed yourself.If you want to stay longer while we are home, I would cook with your help.

  Time off can be spent, hiking, biking near my home.Its close to the ocean for water sports or leisure.
  
  We are a non smoking and non drug household.Conservative alcohol consumption is ok but no drugs on my property.
