  Description

  Our home is a magical place in the middle of nature on the hillside of the coastal town of Araminda in Uruguay. We, Karin and her daughter Diana, are two Austrians who have lived on the South American continent for many years and have already experienced a lot. We are surrounded by our three sheep, some chickens, our always cheerful, watchful dog "Pitufo" and a passionate hunter, our black tomcat Oli. I, Karin, am a therapist who helps people to overcome difficult situations from a holistic perspective. Here you experience the integration, tranquillity and power of nature, you are in the middle of Uruguayan culture in the countryside and yet close to the entire infrastructure.

  You will find opportunities for long walks on the almost deserted beaches under dreamlike blue skies with as many hours of sunshine as you can only find in Uruguay. Here you can find yourself completely, listen to nature and discover new perspectives for yourself. If you wish, you can dedicate yourself to caring for the plants, medicinal and culinary herbs in the garden. You also have the opportunity to experiment with the natural wool of our sheep. You will also be in touch with uruguayan country side lifestyle.

  Aide

  We expect help with food preparation and interest in healthy eating, doing simple chores such as feeding the animals, watering the garden and simple garden work. Preferably a single woman.

  A simple, private guest cottage with bathroom (cold water) and open fireplace, communal shower with hot water and kitchen in the barbecue house.

  The campsite is 1.5km from the beautiful beach and about 900m from the bus stop on the Ruta Interbalnearia. We are an hour's drive from Montevideo and Punta del Este and 35km from Piriapolis. The infrastructure (1km away) and the transport connections for excursions are excellent.
