    🏕️ Description

    Greetings from the forest!

We're currently welcoming motivated individuals—young or old—who bring a mature mindset, are ready to work hands-on, and can adapt to life in a remote, off-grid setting. In return, we offer an unforgettable experience in the wild beauty of northern Sweden, part of the Voyager Park concept.

Every day brings something different. Tasks depend on weather and guests, so flexibility is essential. Some days we work a lot, some not at all. On average, expect around 28–32 hours per week.

Accommodation is basic: you'll stay in a caravan or a stuga, and use a dry outdoor toilet a few meters away. It’s not luxury—but it’s real, raw, and honest. During the summer, mosquitoes and wasps are part of the deal. If you're allergic or very sensitive to bugs, this may not be the best place for you.

We currently have 2 spots open until mid-August, when our current crew wraps up due to an immigration-related transition.

We live alongside 10 dogs, 2 cats, a rabbit, and a chicken—with more animals joining soon. The dogs are family, not sled animals, and if there's mutual trust, you're welcome to hike or bond with them. But we take their comfort and safety seriously.

We usually share meals, but you're welcome to cook your own food too. All food is covered unless you’re into daily luxury dining 😉. At this time, we cannot accommodate vegan or vegetarian diets or people with highly specific dietary needs. If you have allergies like lactose intolerance, that’s totally okay—but please inform us in your first message, not after arrival. It’s important for the whole group’s planning.

We live in a village of fewer than 15 people. It’s quiet, nature-dense, and free from urban distractions. If you love silence, wildlife, and the sound of the wind in the trees—this place will fit you well.

🌍 One important note on mindset:
We truly welcome open-minded people—but we also ask that you genuinely respect different ways of living.

We’ve had visitors tell us how we should store our eggs, should filter our water, or shouldn’t burn wood. To clarify: our water comes pure and untreated directly from the ground, not from a recycled or chlorinated source. Yes, we recycle our trash. Yes, we burn wood and sometimes other materials—completely legal and normal here in Sweden. We also drive older diesel vehicles. That's just part of life in a remote area.

We’re not interested in debates about hybrid cars or why electric vehicles are “better.” We care deeply about nature, animals, and people—but that doesn’t mean we follow every modern eco trend or philosophy. If your idea of being open-minded means expecting others to adapt to your personal standards, this might not be the right place for you.

We’re happy to hear your perspective, and we love cultural exchange—but mutual respect is non-negotiable.

When applying, please tell us more than “I love nature.” Personality matters more than skill. You can use these prompts to share:

    - Why do you want to visit Sweden?
    - Hobbies, music, favorite food?
    - Life goals, values, things you love or dislike?
    - Any allergies? Tattoos? Best memory? Favorite animal?

    🔧 Help
We’re looking for hands-on people, ideally those with experience in:

    - Carpentry
    - Vehicle maintenance or mechanical work
    - Tool use, repairs, and construction

    Other day-to-day help includes:

    - General help around the park and house
    - Lifting logs or equipment
    - Maintenance and repairs
    - Forest cleanup (branches, brush, etc.)
    - Gardening and landscaping
    - Feeding and caring for animals
    - Painting (a lot)
    - Cutting grass (usually twice a week)
    - Building igloos, grill huts, saunas, hot tubs, or patios
    - Cooking and baking
    - Cleaning guest areas, showers, park facilities
    - Car cleaning
    - Kitchen help and guest service (like serving ice cream)

We also need extra help during busy weeks, especially when setting up for events—lots of carrying, building, cleaning, and helping guests.

Got bonus skills? Let us know if you’re good with computers, software, or anything else—we might have a special job just for you.

Some basics we shouldn't have to mention, but experience says otherwise:

    - Keep your caravan or cabin tidy.
    - Don’t throw cigarette butts or trash in the forest, or anywhere else.
    - Bring your dishes and bottles to the kitchen.

🕒 Schedule: Very flexible. We might ask for help on weekends if it’s busy, with time off midweek. Sometimes we work full days, but you’ll be compensated with lighter schedules on other days. You’re free to take breaks as needed—this isn’t military camp.

Caravan/motor-home with your own bedroom inside.
There is no kitchen in the caravan. You are allowed to use ours, but we do prefer to eat all together.
It's a nice caravan with a table and a fridge, but the living space might be small if you stay all day in the caravan.

    🌲 What Else…
We live in the woods. The nearest supermarket is 25 km away, and there are no clubs or restaurants around. But we know how to make our own fun—with bonfires, good food, sauna nights, music, and creative projects.

There's hiking, fishing, blueberry picking, and mushroom foraging right outside your door. We have a hot tub, sauna, and even a music studio if you like playing guitar or drums. We’ve got airsoft guns for target practice and a cozy common room with a fireplace and board games.

    If you’re a digital nomad:

    - Unlimited bandwidth
    - 80mbit Starelink internet
    - Electricity available for your laptop/phone (with occasional power outtage)

4g/5g is very weak. Isolation is real—make sure you’re okay with limited connection outside of your accomodation.

We do regular grocery trips to Sollefteå. You can join us or be dropped off/picked up. From Sollefteå, you can take a bus to a bigger city if you need.

We prefer people who stay a month or more, but we’re open to shorter stays if it's a good fit.

💰 We offer €750/month in compensation.

Thanks for reading. If this sounds like your kind of adventure, we’d love to hear from you.
