Description
Our family lives in Marielund on a country estate with a few houses of various sizes
outside of Uppsala.Marielund is a beautiful little cultural village with very scenic walking areas all around. From here you can take the museum railway into Uppsala city, a historical town with the largest cathedral in the north. It is near to both Arlanda airport and Stockholm, the capital of Sweden. Our house is close to a lake where we have a boat and one can go swimming or ice skating. Good surroundings for biking and running.
We have an open and social home with lots of friends and family visiting. Our family consists of Josef, 53 and Louise, 52. At home we have 2 children, Sion, 19 and Eli, 12. We also have a cat and a flock of chickens. We speak Swedish and English.
We run our own business in fine carpentry, interior design, gardening and philosophy.
In our free time we like cooking and prefer to do it in our outdoor kitchen. We love to go swimming and some of us enjoys to play football or basketball in our own fields. We also enjoy going for walks in the forest and picking mushroom. Playing boardgames and cards is a fun way to socialize. We are all creative and enjoy crafting, creating and expressing ourselves artistically. And we love to talk about the big things in life.
This season we are looking for help in the garden with the installation and construction of new parts and also maintenance of existing parts. It is a large and beautiful garden, so the job is enjoyable if you like being out in nature. We also need help with maintenance tasks on our houses, like painting and carpeting we always need an extra pair of hands. When you come to us, you get to sleep on your own in our little red cottage and share bathroom and kitchen with us in our big house.
We can share knowledge and experience about life and its philosophical questions, nature, carpentry, gardening and more. We got woodworking tools, sewing machines, philosophical conversation evenings and much more around.
