  Description

  Hi there, We are Bob and La Vonne and live on a 5 acre farm. We enjoy growing lavender and have a huge garden that always needs tending. As well we have a small flock of chickens and bees . We live in the small beach town of Gibsons BC located 1 hour from Vancouver.
  
  There are many fun things to do here and if you like the water and nature it is an exceptional place. We are truly interested in cultural exchanges and are eager to share our knowledge and our culture. Tasks would include general farm maintenance, weeding, property upkeep and seasonal harvesting.
  
  We do not derive an income from our farm. The lavender field is not for profit. In addition, to large garden we have a small flock of chickens and a couple of bee hives all for personal use.
  
  We would love to host you here on our farm and exchange cultural experiences.

  We can teach and share our knowledge with farming practices and well as our distillery. The coast offers a myriad of social activities. including beaches, hikes, bike riding, kayaking, swimming as well as many others. The coast has many ciders, distilleries, and breweries that offer live music. We hope to learn about the other cultures from the people we host.

  The tasks will include general farm maintenance garden tasks, tending chickens cooking food helping with the bees etc.We will be working alongside you and sharing our knowledge.

  We offer separate bedrooms with a shared bathroom and shared kitchen.

  We are walking distance to public transport and we do have bicycles available for use. Town is about a three minute drive and you can easily walk there in 15 minutes.
