  Description

  We give priority to longer stays.
  
  We're a married couple with 3 amazing young boys under 5 yo.
  
  We're located in a beautiful village near the St-Lawrence river about 40 min east from Quebec City.
  
  We offer a private room with private bathroom with an intimate balcony that has an amazing view of the river and sunsets! We speak French (most of the time since we live in french canada) and English at home (Jonathan can speak Spanish too).
  
  We expect around 5 hours of work each day with a flexible weekly schedule that we fix together and 2 days/week off where you can explore the surroundings or just relax here.
  
  You can expect a variety of tasks but nothing back breacking : playing with one of our boys, preparing 2 meals in the week, one morning of basic cleaning and help with the gardens or landscaping when it's the season.
  
  We absolutely want a women with great love for children, good physical and mental health, who likes quality time with them and to interact with kids.
  
  Our energic 4 years old toddler is on the ASD and can sometimes be more challenging to deal with, but we don't expect that you spend most of the time with him - he's wonderful but can be demanding. Better that you know this in advance. He's at school for part of the day too. Hannah is always at home anyway so you are never totally alone with our children and we try to give the best advices we can for the daily routines with them.
  
  We can teach many things about intensive small scale organic gardening, northern fruit trees, permaculture and food forest management, family economics etc. We're not a farm selling stuff outside ; we take care of our beautiful land (around 2 acres) to feed our family or friends, develop a good loving education for our children and enjoy the beauty of nature together.
  
  We are a Catholic Christian family but you're most welcome even if you do not share our faith.
  
  We like to have a video-chat discussion before taking any commitment, using whattsapp as been the best.

  Aide

  Help with the children, cook some meals, help with improvement on the land or in the house, help with the gardens during the summer. In a spirit of freedom, dialogue and sharing. We have a weekly schedule so you know in advance what's coming and can plan accordingly.

  Hébergement

  As you can see on the pictures : Private room and bathroom with balcony with one of the best view on the river and mountains of the north shore. For meals, we consider you has part of familly and usually can share together at least dinner. Of course there's no problem if you just want to eat alone or outside or in your room, you even have a little fridge and table in the room, so just let us know.

  Autres infos...

  Québec is 40 min drive (with international airport). Ferry from south shore to Quebec easy to reach. Nearby : islands to visit, beach to swim in the summer, we provide a bike and you can reach the beach or the marina to relax, small grocery store with basic stuff. You can use a car with licence if needed. Cities nearby : Montmagny, Lévis, Quebec. In the winter : country skiing and snowshoe trails at 5 min from home or directly here on our land, and way more to discover. In march-april we tap the maple trees and make syrup at home
