Description
Hi, I'm Ana!
I am based in the Mexican Caribbean, where I've hosted hundreds of travelers in my home for more than 20 years, parallel to my career in teaching Spanish and English to international students.
In my free time, I am a slow traveler who relishes getting immersed in the community and getting to know the locals. I have gathered a lot of experience working internationally in hotels, coffee shops, Au Pairing, housekeeping, and even with domestic animals and wildlife.
In my personal life, I am a single mom of a grown 22-year-old daughter. I love running, outdoors, singing and dancing, sightseeing, and coffee! Sometimes, I also enjoy a good glass of wine.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
Throughout the years I have gathered a lot of experience working internationally.
As a host and housekeeper myself, I have property management and maintenance skills, and I am in charge of my own property (and other properties) and public relations between host and tenant.
As an Au Pair and Nanny, my love for arts (singing, dancing, music, and acting) has been an awesome tool in creating bonds with the kids I've looked after. It's been a good advantage for families that besides English, I also speak Spanish and kids pick up my language fairly quickly through singing and storytelling.
Working with wildlife and domestic animals, I have experience working in shelters and biological research stations. I really enjoy being around animals.
