… read more my English teachers, Fleur and I had a lot of fun playing, singing, drawing, cycling, tickling each other.... When Fleur went to sleep Nadja and I could talk or watch a movie. They always invited me on their weekend excursions and in my free time Nadja left me her bike to explore the beautiful surroundings. I also had time to travel and to get to know other beautiful cities like Zwolle, Amsterdam, Münster... I recommend this amazing experience to everyone. Thank you Júlia for staying with us, we really enjoyed having you with us for 5+ weeks. Júlia was a great guest and it felt more like having a friend stay with us. Her English improved massively and together with my daughter they had a lot of fun, be it Lego, arts and crafts or singing English and Spanish songs, Fleur still recites a few of them

I stayed with Nadja and Fleur from December till the end of January. I was exceptionally lucky to get into this family. I had hard times and Fleur was curing me with her laughter, countless games of building houses, art and crafts and reading. These 2 amazing girls were welcoming from the very first moment. … read more don't buy it - she is a ball of energy and creativity, can e very loud and very emotional (like a lot of us, girls:) Nadja treated me like a member of their family - we ate together, spent time together, she brought me with them to forests and parks. She is a very smart, strong and respectful woman, sportive and beautiful, very friendly and kind.
I didn't have a strict working schedule. My day usually started at 9 but then it could be different - coz of corona Fleur didn't go to school so we were together doing funny things. Nadja was working from home so sometimes she just told me: it's sunny now, go get some sun:) I had my own (really beautiful) room with tons of books (I enjoyed that a lot) and I had food any time I wanted to eat. I could stay in the living room or in the attic when I needed my time.

Lucy stayed with us for nearly 3 months towards the end of 2020 and we were sad to see her leave. She slotted right into our household and was great with my daughter (5), they got on really well and that's what counted most for me. I could trust Lucy to look after Fleur, she was very responsible and creative and together they created countless

She's an outgoing, intelligent, well spoken, driven and positive person. I can highly recommend having Lucy as your next Workaway!

This was my first experience as a workawayer and thanks to Fleur and Nadja it was marvellous. Fleur is an intelligent, curious and full of vitality baby. … read more time I also joined Nadja and her daughter on some of their planned activities. When Fleur was in bed Nadja and I also enjoyed a great chat or just some chill time.
In my free time I mostly cycled around in this beautiful area, borrowing Nadjas bike. You can find nearly everything - from spacious fields and untouched lake shores to narrow allyways and shopping streets in historical cities.
If all my coming workaways are similar to this one, I couldn´t ask for more.

And Fleur was my very best friend since the first moment we met. She is interested in everything of practical doing and she was my little teacher in English language. The days were full of joy while cooking, playing, going for a walk, cycling around the near lake and much more.
