Hi, Annette here, living on my biodivers farm with pretty location surrounded by forest, fields, running water all the year, sweet-water-beach on the lake, animals
I started the farm 88 . Make a abandoned farm liveable keeps in process.
A vegetable garden, around 100 fruit- olive and nut trees surrounding the base. The outer circle is represented by forest of native varieties of trees. I´m passionate about nature, in care about and enjoying it.

A blessed place in nature with forest, self-sufficient garden and fields. Donkey, dogs, cats, geese and chicken. Self supporting energy (photovoltaic + hydro power) waterfalls and source, river , cold basins and a beach by the lake want to be enjoyed. My adult son autist lives with me.due to personal health I reduced the agriculture to self-serve-size.
A fun & relax park on the beach by the Rio Dão / lake barragem de Fagilde as Camping possibility for friends in summer.
Rural infrastructure and pure nature.
The long term goal is living in independent living units, joint as community on the land -Nice spots free for nice ideas
Basic rule for your stay is keep the room and ambients tidy.
There are various ways you can get involved:
4-5 hours per day for board and lodging
(1 helper 2 or 3 for 5-15 days) + kitchen for the meals
or
if you prefer just 2 - 3 hours, we can have meals together
once you help with the food budget
only 1 volunteer, 1 week minimum longer stay wanted if we match
or

there is a little house on the land in its own space, garden, trees, water
half way between my house and the lake,
for one or two LONG TERM HELP in exchange of 1 0 weekly hours

You can swim in the lake, climb or walk in direct surroundings make trips in the neighbourhood and cooperative projects.
there are games and cards for rainy days. I like to share my experience as a self-supporter, and love to pass on my practical experience like about different tree species.
3 km to the bus stop , 4 km to supermarket. Mangualde Center where I can pick you up if supported
or come with your own car to visit markets, the "Serra Estrela" Star mountains and highest spot in Portugal
or the district capital Viseu / 15 km to the center
Next airport is Porto . connected with a 2 hours bus ride to Viseu
Mangualde has a train station with ICE stop Line spain - Lissbon

My agenda goes with the seasons:
February to May preparing the garden, fields ,
June to September: weeding and watering garden, care of the outdoor facilities
September to December fruit-nut-olive-harvest.
winter & spring: tasks in the greenhouse.
summer: preparing food from the garden, attention in the park at the lake
daily: tasks relating to animal welfare, tasks around our shared meals
if required giving me a helping hand by upcoming tasks

depending on the topic, I am sometimes better in English, but at other times in Portuguese I understand some Spanish, better the Latin American and can help with correct german language.
Hébergement
We´ll eat the fruits and veggies which grow on the farm (sometimes with a side dish of meat).
guest room: 1 single and 1 double bed; shared simple bath
for long stay : a little house with battery electricity
in the camping area a cabin or
place for van or tent shared bathroom
warm water provided by the sun or heated with wood (fire)
I can host groups with 3 to 6 person for 4 -10 days in the fully equiped guesthouse ( if not rented ) Feb-April and November
If volunteers are only asked to help 10 hours per week they will need to buy and prepare their own food
