Descripción
Having traveled solo for quite a while, I am independent and secure, with a well-supported lifestyle.
**Skills Offered**
With decades of professional I.T. Industry experience, DIY experience and now in early retirement, I travel to support meaningful, community-based initiatives. “Turning it off” has never been easy, so I’ve chosen to put my experience and abilities to good use. With few outside obligations, I have the flexibility to make a genuine commitment—often several weeks or longer—and, when possible, stay long enough to see a project through from start to finish.
**Agriculture & Sustainability**
➤ Organic gardening, permaculture, soil regeneration
➤ Solar/off-grid systems
➤ Farm equipment operation
➤ Animal rescue (cats, dogs, honeybees)
**Construction & Technical**
➤ Renovation, plumbing, electrical, welding
➤ Structural & vehicle maintenance
➤ Computer networks & systems
**Media & Leadership**
➤ Photography, videography, drone operation
➤ Event coordination & volunteer management
➤ First Aid & CPR certified
**Places visited:**
➤ Guatemala, Mexico, Panama, Nicaragua, Honduras, Peru, Brazil, Costa Rica, Greece, Spain, Portugal, Japan, South Korea, Mauritius, France, Uruguay, Belize, Jamaica, Virgin Islands, Canada (Alberta, Manitoba, Saskatchewan), and United States (38 states, including Alaska and Hawaii)
Originating from a rural farming community, I value sustainability, stewardship, transparency, and positive environmental and community impact. I enjoy preparing healthy, minimally processed meals using animal proteins and plant-based foods, while immersing myself in local culture and cuisine.
If your project supports long-term resilience and positive community development, I would be happy to connect.
As an aside, nearly a decade advocating for vulnerable individuals has given me a deep commitment to dignity, respect, and safe, supportive environments for everyone—values I believe must be upheld without exception. -
