I am a student from Australia studying in France and am an avid world traveller. I recently arrived in France and am very keen to explore my new surroundings. I absolutley love to meet new people and learn about different cultures and languages. In my free time, I also enjoy playing musical instruments (I play the bagpipes, violin and saxophone), playing football and reading books.

I have just started my first year at university in France studying engineering, I have done some gardening and hedge trimming with my grandparents and also have some limited experience using power tools like drills to repair and build furniture and mount things on walls. I've never painted walls but I have painted the background for stage set boards (for a play) which is much the same technique. I have looked after horses before - cleaning stalls, feeding and grooming (I am no expert but have done some of this before). For the last few months, I worked as a chess coach for primary school students too. I am also always looking for new skills to learn!

Saffran stayed with our family for almost three weeks. She is 19 years old and speaks good French and fluent English , which made communication easy.
