hey :), im ruth (or ruthie) and I am 18 years old. I just finished highschool this year and since then I am trying to make my dreams of travelling the world come true. So far I have backpacked through more than 14 countries on my own and it has been the most wonderful experience of my life. I love meeting new people and seeing new places especially from a locals pov. I am a quick learner, i enjoy teamwork, I love doing various kinds of sports (and trying out new forms of it too) and the plants and animals of a certain place alway catch my heart first. Oh and of course food plays a big role for me when trying to experience a new country :)
I love going on adventures and since I grew up right in the middle of nowhere next to a forest going outside and finding my own adventures has been my number one priority since forever but now that I can actually travel the world if I choose to I want to make little me happy by searching for the best adventures possible!

First of all my french should be better than beginner level but sadly it is not still I enjoy learning new languages (very different ones to) and i certainly do not have a preference as to which language I would like to learn most.

Que habilidades tienes?

I have tried doing loads of things (maybe I am not excellent at everything) BUT I am a quick learner and eager too. I play piano and guitar, I enjoyed school my favorite subjects being biology, english and history (which is way I am very interested in environmental sciences and doing conservatory work). But I also enjoy sports such as swimming, walking, skiing and climbing. I love animals and working with them because I believe it is important to learn about the place we as in humans live in and the animals that live around us :) I like crafting and building and I would consider myself an artsy person altough the beauty of art is very subjective

I also am very much of a family person: my 14 year old sister is the most important person in my life and although she is sometimes scared for my life because I am travelling sort of far from home her supproting my travels means the world to me. I am also sort of a huge bookworm but I can be quite specific about what kind of genres I really dislike...I will still read any book given to me tho :)
I want to travel to see the world and experience it but also to see where I can help which I feel is extremly necessary at this point in human history and if I can combine helping the environment and seeing it properly it would be a dream come true!
