Hello, my name is Marina, I am from Washington state in the US. I'm passionate about helping the environment and creating a sense of community. I'm traveling for a couple months before returning to school to try to better figure out what I can do in my adult life to give myself and those around me a sense of purpose.

I've had experience cleaning, gardening, living on a farm caring for goats, chickens, and horses, babysitting, and painting.I'd like to think I adapt very well to new situations and am not picky when it comes to food and lodging. I've traveled a lot in South America, know basic conversational Spanish and am eager to learn more.

I am able to have a fairly long conversation in Spanish but would like to become fluent, as well as learn about similar languages (Italian, Portuguese, etc.). I also spent some time in France and would be excited to be taught the basics.

I love to read, hike, swim, and ride bicycles. I like meeting new people and taking care of little kids, and I'm very open-minded. I don't usually like to go out at night and enjoy having a little time to myself each day, preferably in nature.
