Hello! I am a baker by profession but also very passionate about cooking and writing. I am currently at the start of a 1.5 year trip through Mexico, Central + South America. The goal is to learn Spanish more or less fluently, learn more about gardening // permaculture // sustainable living and of course make new friends :) This is a trip I've wanted to do for a long time, but it took many years and some unexpected life shifts to finally get me started. I'm looking forward to growing further into myself and hope to contribute many different projects!

Dejado por el workawayer (Mariah) para el anfitrión (Sharing, learning and being ...)

I had such a wonderful experience staying with Michelle and Lily! I stayed on their farm for 5 weeks and my main role was baking which was awesome :) It took a little while to get the hang of things and understand the expectations for both work and life on the farm, so some patience is required, but its so worth it! This was my first workaway experience and oh my goodness I couldn't have asked for anything better! Their property is beautiful and I was so inspired by all they do to keep it as sustainable as possible.
