Hi! My name is Manuel and I am from Rome, Italy.

I am a curious, active and open-minded person who enjoys travelling, learning new things and meeting people from different cultures. Friends usually describe me as reliable, respectful, easy-going and always willing to help.

I joined Workaway because I would like to spend some time in Germany, improve my German and experience everyday life from a local perspective. I believe the best way to learn a language is through real conversations, shared activities and cultural exchange.

I enjoy running, trekking, going to the gym, reading, music and spending time outdoors. I also love good food and would be happy to share some Italian recipes and culture with my hosts.

Professionally, I work in the engineering field, where I have learned to be organised, responsible and comfortable working with different people. I am happy to help with practical tasks around the house, gardening, technology, organisation or any daily activities where an extra pair of hands is useful.

My goal is not only to travel, but to contribute, learn, improve my German and create genuine connections with my hosts.

Yes, language learning is one of my main goals. I am currently learning German and would love to practise it in everyday life. My level is still basic, but I am motivated and take weekly lessons. I would be grateful for the opportunity to speak German during my stay, and I am happy to help with Italian as well.

I have an engineering background and my professional experience has taught me to be organised, reliable, proactive and comfortable working with people from different backgrounds. I enjoy solving problems, learning new skills and taking responsibility for the tasks I am given.

I can help with technology and computer-related tasks, organisation, planning, research and general problem solving. I am also happy to help with everyday practical activities such as cleaning, gardening, shopping, simple cooking, house maintenance and any other tasks where an extra pair of hands is useful.

I am an active person who enjoys rugby, running, trekking, gym training and spending time outdoors. I like travelling, meeting new people, discovering different cultures and sharing experiences. I also enjoy cooking and would be happy to prepare some Italian dishes for my hosts.

Above all, I am respectful, easy-going, motivated and willing to learn. I believe a positive attitude, reliability and genuine curiosity are the most important qualities I can bring to a Workaway experience.

I am not looking only for a place to stay, but for an authentic cultural exchange. I enjoy learning from people with different backgrounds and hearing their stories, experiences and perspectives. For me, the most valuable part of travelling is often the people you meet along the way.
