Hi, I'm Mallory!

I come from a homestead located in Utah, USA. I was taught from a very young age to appreciate the beauty in all things. This love directly translates to everything I put energy into as an adult. This love ranges from ceramics, painting or crafts, to gardening, farming and cooking. I enjoy anything handmade and homemade, and am always striving to find new hobbies and develop new talents. Some current skills I am developing are crocheting, butter/cheese making, greenhouse keeping and sourdough baking.

My childhood homestead taught me many skills growing up, and gave me a desire to continue learning the ways of my ancestors. I grew up tending to horses, goats, chickens, turkeys, doves, rabbits, pigs, cows, sheep and dogs. I was responsible for shoveling out waste, grooming, milking, feeding, and every once in a while birthing animals. We also had multiple garden areas that required planting, weeding, pruning, watering, and harvesting.

My education extended inside the home where I learned how to prepare and preserve our own food. I was taught how to dehydrate, can and smoke various types of fruits, vegetables and meat. I know the basics of cooking and baking and love making recipes extra beautiful and delicious.

I have always been creative and sought after hobbies that require my hands. I love to paint, draw, craft, crochet, create digital art, and do ceramic pottery. I am always looking for ways to use these skills, as it makes me feel like my truest self.
