Since I went on my first trip, I have really found my passion in travelling, as you get new perspectives on life and learn so many things. I was already lucky enough to see a lot from the world, but to live in Latin America has always been a dream of mine as I am amazed by the culture and diversity it has to offer.
I`m very spontaneous & positive and always up for new adventures. I appreciate as well as respect nature in all its forms and colors, that`s why I`m happiest outdoors.
Snorkeling, hiking, surfing, dancing, but also connecting & having deep conversations with people you just met, is what amazes me the most while being abroad!
As much as I enjoy being surrounded by a loving community, I also appreciate some alone time - reading, writing, doing yoga,...
My plan is to start in Costa Rica in November and see where it takes me, so I am open to join someone`s travel plans or create a route together and just have a fun time :)

CHILDCARE & HOUSEHOLD
When I turned 18, I have worked as an AuPair in Australia for 6 months and took care of two 4-year old boys. Spending time with them and their family has been a real pleasure and taught me responsibility and how to effectively communicate. I have also helped my host parents a lot with the household (cooking, cleaning, ...) and what I especially enjoyed was gardening & taking care of the plants.

HOSPITALITY
Back in Austria, I have both worked and studied hospitality.
- Study: Tourism & Hospitality Management
- Work: During that time, I have worked in all departments of a hotel; F&B, Bartender, Front Office, Reservation, Housekeeping, Marketing & Sales,... So I have had a great experience and insight in the hospitality world. I learned how to deal with different guests, their wishes and complaints and how to solve problems effectively. The most valuable experience was to understand how a hotel works and operates and how all departments are connected.

EVENT MANAGEMENT
After my studies and before travelling, I have worked as an Event Manager in Vienna for 2 years, which I enjoyed a lot, as you get to work with many different people and get to be creative and develop organizational skills as well as skilled craftsmanship. It`s a diverse job which never gets boring and requires lots of motivation. I have successfully organized and executed events between 5 and 500 people (meetings, weddings, teambuilding events, parties,...)

ANIMAL CARE & GARDENING
My whole life, I have been surrounded by animals, as we have 3 family dogs as well as a horse. So naturally I love spending time with and taking care of them. Also while staying at an eco-farm for a few days in Sri Lanka, I voluntarily took care of some of the animals (chickens, monkeys, ducks, cats..) and helped the owners with their tasks.
My family has a big garden and grows many vegetables and fruits themselves, therefore I was born with a green thumb, but I`m also curious to advance my knowledge in the matter. :)

PERSONALITY
In general, I am a very open-minded and kind person who gets along with everyone.
I am curious to try new things and have the necessary motivation to learn new skills very quickly. My calm personality + hands-on mentality has always been appreciated and makes me handle stressful situations very well. I am also very creative and curious and love to paint, listen to music and dance. I enjoy helping people / do something good and I am always up for a good joke. Even though, I might seem a bit shy at first, I am a very loving person who cares a lot and enjoys good company.

I do not have any concrete plans for my trip through Central America, therefore I am curious to see what awaits me. :)
Yet I am hoping that I will meet many interesting people during my trip and learn a lot about myself and others.
