Hello lovely human who is reading my profile! :)

My name is Lucy, I am a 21 year old Australian girl with a passion for the outdoors, travel and all things creative.

I first began using workaway in 2023 when i solo travelled Europe for six months. It gifted me some of my most precious memories from that trip and allowed me to experience the local culture and way of life in many beautiful places.

I have been travelling and working throughout New Zealand for the past four months. Currently I am backpacking (no van), and wanted to broaden my horizons so I decided to hop on here again! I am eager to meet locals, learn new skills and help someone realise their dreams or plans and step out of the overly commercial, non-personal side of travelling for a while.

I love meeting new people, embracing new experiences and learning about new cultures. Besides travel and being outdoors, I have a great love for art. Whether its painting drawing, sculpting, poetry or music, i love it all! I am currently travelling with a set of oil paints, a painting pox and a drawing pad, and sitting down to paint in a new location has become one of my favourite things to do in a day.

Im will be attending a vipassnana meditation from the 1st until 12th of october and then I am looking for somewhere to volunteer from the 13th onward!
