Descripción
Hello! I'm a (semi)-recent University grad and have since moved to Glasgow in Scotland, where I have been working through the gruelling Scottish weather as a researcher in Soil Science for a carbon capture company and also as a field scientist for a company which remediates contaminated land! I've now been travelling for over three months in New Zealand, and Australia.
I have loved working outdoors in my roles, especially around contributing to sustainable land use, however i am really passionate about sustainable agriculture and regenerative soil practises. Whilst travelling, I have been undertaking WWOOFs on various organic farms in NZ and Australia, which I have loved and I'm looking to experience small-scale farming lige in Japan! I'd also like to improve on my crafting and practical skills - I have recently started whittling and would like to get more into DIY projects.
I'm super excited about exploring Japan and experiencing the culture, landscape, and practises. I would love to learn some Japanese, although I really am starting from basics! I'd love to experience what small-communities are like in Japan, and meet new people while seeing alternative ways to live in a more supported, connected and holistic way.
I am ultimately really motivated by exploiring our intimate connections with nature, and the landscape in which we work and live and how this can be epxlored creatively and sustainably!
